No coincidence, the shkval is pointing a beam, the vikher is a beam rider, it will adjust in flight to where ever the shkval is looking, and at the same time pointing a beam. We used to be able to take out columns with the Vikher in the SU-25T in FC1. By flying slowly towards them, and launching up to four Vikhers with a 2/3sec pause in between launches, then adjusting the Shkval. Pointing the laser at each of the targets one by one while the missiles where still in flight the timing had to be perfect. No longer possible in FC2 though, but more realistic I suppose/assume

The "AF" stands for Allied force! Sadly, I am unable to get it working on my current PC, or else I would still be playing it! IMHO the dynamic campaign is over rated. I'm more interested in the technical, mechanical aspect, the nuts and bolts if you will. That's all the motivation I need.

Hmm? I just tried your setting and it does seem like that's how it should be. I thought I heard somewhere that A-10 pilots cant just turn there heads and see the turbines because of the seat, well with the default setting you can. You definitly got me wondering. The settings you posted would be perfect if the HUD werent off kilter

Vista flashbacks I guess Whenever I see someone talking about missing textures and CTD's I think yup it's that damn UAC again! Trying to run old programs, on vista, I had my fair share of grief.

When you don't share your PC, it's absolutely useless, a hindrance more like. And installing certain software in the program files directory with UAC enabled can lead to grief. Like oh say, CDT's, and missing textures on your favorite sim. y'know? stuff like that

Sounds like somebody had the UAC enabled when they installed in the program files directory. Correct? Or no?

I didnt mean to sound too critical of the G940. Like I said I just got it I'm still learning how to set it up properly, you would probably do well to not listen to me from my noob POV. No I haven't replaced any parts, it's a well built solid HOTAS 'as far as I can tell' I'll give it that. I still have my trusty X52, it aint going no wheres, I guess I was ready to try some force feedback and the G940 being the only complete FFB HOTAS it wasn't a tough choice. I'm still messing with it, no buyers remorse just yet:thumbup:

I've had my G940 for 3 day's coming from an X52 I can say while the G940 has more functionality, it's far from perfect. My main complaints right now are the profile software it's inadequate to say the least, and the loose center 'aka' slop. I'm seriously considering gutting the FF motors and installing a spring lol I did manage to map the entire A10c HOTAS without much compromise 4 shift buttons lol. I cant recommend the G940 at this time.
