  1. I want to see my logbook on digitalcombatsimulator.com in a tab on my profile page please. Today i told someone i have 500 hours in the sim and i want to be able to verify it w/o necessarily having to log in to DCS on my rig. Thanks for reading.
  2. Hello, I'm thrilled about the arrival of Part 2 Weasels Over Syria. I played mission 1 and recorded some highlights in the video link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUy0cjJlops I scored 99 because I managed a gun kill on the secondary SA-6 s/tr unit after wasting one HARM on the SA6 to the east that fired on me at WPT7 and missing the SA6 at the Sayrat airbase. On approach to Akrotiri I thought I maintained FL06 along the 14nm arc and at the STAR point but I may have dropped below the correct glidepath costing me 1 point. Altogether I'm happy with my result, I tanked with ARCO before passing Waypoint 4 on the egress and took on about 3,200 lbs of fuel from state 2.9 My final fuel state was 3.4 so I would not have been able to complete the approach correctly if I hadn't tanked. All in all I had a lot of fun in Mission 1, and this campaign is shaping up to be just as immersive as FIWOS was.
  3. InDCS I can only do an exaggerated barrell roll like that when I'm fast and straight and level, never right after a slow speed high AOA turn.
  4. yeah that update frequency is a bit of a damper on improved campaigns. And to guard your intellectual property you can't just share a google drive file can you? It's okay, I'm sure the updates will be worth the wait. I sped through the replay of my saved track of mission 9 and took control just before WPT5, set my ripple interval to 55 shoes and that did the trick. I was then able to tank, and engage 3 migs, luckily I switched the difficulty down to trained so I would have a chance because I suck at air combat. To top it off I trapped the case 3 approach on my first try. fun missions!
  5. Okay, so it's good to know I could complete the mission if I set my bomb interval to much closer than 888 feet like I did. Because here is video evidence I placed all four bombs on the runway in a crosswind! (My fourth bomb was still on the rack when the first exploded) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtdAzwdAikE
  6. I did not change the enemy difficulty level on the mission. Thanks.
  7. https://youtu.be/k8LXZv337NU?si=o6ef_dikgedolJf6 skip to 18:15 minutes lol
  8. Hello, I'm attaching a track of my run through of mission 4. Two issues I encountered was when Matrix finished the gun run he seems to have slammed into the ground near the dam. I also boltered on my first landing attempt and the mission triggered as if I had stopped on the deck and was mission complete. Thanks for reading. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hwjf-vMbM33gIx4V1HuCGLSd34knGrvm/view?usp=sharing https://youtu.be/A5yfde58wt8?si=7H-j8cEM_fxX5nhj skip to 30:15 and 49:50 for details
  9. And I don't mean to be nitpicky. I realize you content developers are constantly battling performance issues, and thanks for the effort because the campaigns really add a depth of immersion to the Sim. I really was just looking for an excuse to link my highlights video
  10. The explosion plume would go up while the GBU was just about to impact. Is desync in single player a possibility?
  11. our flight's bombs exploded early https://youtu.be/wfpFBCwbr2Q?si=1KX9kiC17ekb6cHF
  12. I exited out of the Date after completing the Final, and the mission list sent me back to the Friend. So I skipped the Friend and then skipped the Final and was then able to see the End Credits mission which I watched. Nice sunset. Awesome campaign Cyking! Nice OpSec by changing Mina's name to Nina. No one will ever guess her real name! Again thanks for a really awesome campaign, with awesome optional music to listen to over the NAV radio of all things. And the choice of the final mission was a particularly nice touch.
  13. I noticed that Springfield 1-1 kept flying the heading after reporting the engine overheat issue and then they just disappeared. Maybe you wanna check the code on it to make it fly to the divert helipad for realism or maybe just my game is buggy
  14. I'm headaching over this too, I thought I set down gently enough to land on the containers, but I got bucked around and the skids broke. I wonder if the best way to try to land is with the same heading as the ship, or perpendicular to it. The rain made it really difficult to percieve motion and position. So definitely I have met my match as a virtual pilot.
  15. And an AI chat bot told me this is a really unrealistic practice and a real pilot would never lower the collective to zero in-flight. So I'm committing virtual helicopter heresy with thar technique but I appreciate if you can adjust the triggers for my gaming style. Maybe with velocity, agl altitude, and collective percentage conditions I followed your advice and shut down my helicopter after landing on the Castle Leeds following contact with the armed speedboats. The mission then ended in success.
  16. So when I descend and circle around to land I usually lower my collective to zero and pitch up and just let the momentum carry me down and bleed airspeed, combined with my player being near the ship that must've set off the trigger Yes, in my playthrough the castle leeds did fire at the speedboats and destroyed them.
  17. Hello again. I had a peculiar experience with mission 4 tonight. The first time I approached the Castle Leeds the trigger fired for having landed on the ship to pick up the specialist before I had a chance to land. Here is a video of it inlcuding the known issue with the end of mission trigger. Out of curiousity I took off from Castle Leeds again and examined the target ship, There were UNIFIL crewmen aboard, I didn't find out they were going to board the ship at any point, so that was a surprise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbk3JsWpRsc
  18. I responded to your inquiry on YouTube, and I did some testing. I use VR and no setting I chose had any affect on the size or format of your Quest Message. The size did change however in the 2D monitor image, but not the format (in the mission 3 beginning) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSEJogc_Kgc For me though It doesn't bother me how the Quest Messages appear, I've completed mission 3 tonight and all messages read just fine.
  19. For reference here is a link to some video highlights from my playthrough of mission 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7be_m05RTIQ
  20. Hello, I'm just starting the campaign. Mission 1 the triggers are working fine and the music on 122.50 NAV VHF is really cool. I tried tuning into the Navy ship on 440 KHz ADF and the Morse Code was not what was written on the kneeboard comms page, and the compass needle did not track to the ship ( I encounter this problem often in the Huey and I don't know why). I also tuned the ADF to 410 KHz and the compass needle did track to the city of Tyre but the morse code signal reads -.. .. .--. ( D I P ) instead of ( T Y E ) . Anyway, at least I am tracking towards Tyre now, whether or not the morse code signal matches isn't really going to get me lost at this point. The morse signal was correct for the VHF FM ADF at Naquora spelling ( N A Q ). Fascinating how the Ship smoke stack is emitting smoke! Did you manage that with a white smoke marker placed on a moving zone? It gave accurate wind direction indication which was really neat.
  21. By the way, my favorite missions from the Spring 2025 campaign were the one where I go up the canyon to inspect bridges (that taught me how to takeoff while heavy and in thinner air)(Essentially head downhill and into the wind as much as possible through any available clearing to get airspeed and some lift). That and the sling load mission across the river. I will check from time to time for more of your content.
  22. I want to thank you CHPL and your team for another spectacular campaign. Peter Berger never disappoints as a PIC. null
  23. I have played through your SPRING 2025 campaign twice, and it was very enjoyable when it wasn't downright challenging. I am thrilled to be playing through a second installment of WORLD'S APART now! I admit I am very much a gamer and I play to hit the triggers and call it a day. I'm unfamiliar with the voluminous aviation rules and procedures, however thanks for your feedback, and I will now strive to line up approaches into the wind, in order to hit all the triggers correctly. If I can be so critcal to compare your documentation to other campaigns' I hope it will be taken constructively: The DCS F-16C Wild Weasels campaign documentation showed very detailed diagrams of the traffic patterns and ATC procedures when doing everything around the H4 base in Jordan. Once I understood the plan I was able to comply consistently with mission expectations. I'm not saying that I'm not hearing Oberleutenant Berger tell me where the headwind is as I approach for landing, It's just I would do better to have seen a diagram from a bird's eye view beforehand to help me understand where not to fly over, as well as how much distance for final approach is expected. I admit I have a lot of discipline to cultivate however when it comes to following aviation rules for the sake of a simulation. I just comleted Mission 10 and it was one of the most demanding sling load missions I've done, I really liked the challenge of picking up between the narrow gap in the trees on either side of the mountain road. The base above was a really cool place to drop cargo! Props for making a great one! my Stormfront Mission 10 track
  24. I think the second smoke, which I scribbled into this image, is where I was supposed to land the first time, but the trigger went off at the end of the mission because I wasn't able to get it before, which probably explains the random voice over saying for me to go to the ridge.
