  1. Nice idea, but you DON'T have to clear the old ones out. When you use the Saitek software, the button presses become keyboard keys.
  2. A patch of third party mods? Umm, I don't think ED will supply that . . .
  3. lol Everyone was whining about having paypal available and now that it will be the whines are for credit cards!!! Just can't satisfy everyone I guess . . .
  4. You make a very good point, but I believe they WOULD have to include new recordings. As it is right now, only the responses to the questions are there. For instance, if you ask for clearance to taxi it only says the response from the tower. The AI would have to speak to ask for it or it would be really weird.
  5. The new movie "Duel" gives me an error, anyone else able to get this to run?
  6. Re: FPS Limit You can do it with Vsync in your video card panel. Basically it limits the FPS to your refresh rate on your monitor (ie: 65, 70, 75, etc.). I'm assuming you are getting blurring or ghosting on your monitor, is this correct? That's the only reason I can think of that you would want to limit it.
  7. Jeez!! Picky, picky . . . Thanks Chizh, this looks very nice!
  8. My thoughts exactly!! Maybe people who buy PF will like Lomac more anyway (as they rightly should!). Sales of FC should benefit ED much more than the $19.95 for Lomac (especially after Ubi gets their cut).
  9. It's all good!! They check here regularly . . .
  10. OMG This would be cool if they were considering it. It would add a great deal to the game, a fast-mover NATO aircraft capable of SEAD, plus it would satisfy the Europeans who have been left out of this sim (not me, I'm from US :D). I wonder which version they would do? The GR-3 has the moving map which would be hard to model, and the GR-1 has no RWR. Somehow I doubt this will be for Lomac, but we can hope for a new product . . . edit: here's a good page with cockpit shots of both the Gr-1 model and Gr-3: http://sepecat.info/images/02-cockpit/
  11. You guys are really doing some nice work!! But surely there has to be more people in the Lomac community that could do this type of work? I really wish I had these kind of skills, I would probably work on a Jaguar or maybe some more ground vehicles. Thanks for putting in your time and effort guys, I hope ED will honor you by incorporating these models into the sim!!
  12. That is a really cool looking plane! It says it is a TS-11. Do you have any details about that plane? Edit: Just found this . . . http://www.warbirdalley.com/iskra.htm
  13. About the "library" of threats in the anti-radar missiles: Cat says that the 25MP doesn't have the ZSU-23/4 in it's library. How can this be? Hasn't the ZSU been out since the French and Indian War or something? :?
  14. Re: ED, How about something to hold us over? http://lockon.ru/index.php?end_pos=9&lang=en&scr=list&page=4#362  Just found this . . . scroll down to see the bugfix list!! Man, ED has done some seriously cool work with 1.1!! They really need to charge us like crazy for all this new stuff . . . Time for ED to make lots of money!!
  15. lol! He is going to start working VERY hard as GGTharos is the current Supreme High Chancellor of spam!! :P
  16. Easy. Get the addon for all the other cool features!! If you are not interested in the Su-25t, there is still a bunch of cool new stuff. Lots of bug fixes, new Autumn and Winter terrains, new mission editor objects, movie transitions for missions, the list goes on and on . . .
  17. There is a new 1.1 video on lockon.ru. I can't get this one to play though. Windows Media Player gives me an error every time I try. I have the latest divx codecs. I tried to play it in the divx player itself, but it will only play the first 5 seconds or so before it stops. Anyone else having problems with this one?
  18. The fact that ED has not not commited to a release date is good IMHO. That way, no one will get their hopes up and then crushed when the date isn't met. This happened over and over with 1.02. Now the one thing i would like to know is the price for the download. This will give me important intel in preparation for the war with my wife over this purchase!!
  19. That looks REALLY good!! Some of the AI planes are pretty pathetic. Your work could change all that . . .
  20. This is funny because we just found out recently (by Chizh) that the basic Su-25 that is in Lomac 1.0-1.02 can NOT carry antiradar missiles. So basically, this whole time the Russians were cheating! :o Now with 1.1 the Red side will get a true SEAD capable flyable, the Blue side should come next!!
  21. Interesting thread. Well how about the Su-25's cannon? Should it also not be able to take out a tank?
  22. In regards to the new kill messages: What information is shown? Just kills or does it also display info such as landing/takeoffs? Also, are a2g and AI a2a kills shown? Are there any changes to the scoring system? I'm curious to know if the new military installions for the editor will get points. Thanks ED for listening to all of us, the kill messages are a much welcome addition to Lomac!!
  23. While your idea has merit (and I would certainly donate money for the cause), I think that the path they are currently taking will work. For us non-CIS customers, we will probably pay $50-80 to download 1.1. Not a drop of this will go to Ubi, so ED could in theory make more than they did in initial Lomac sales. This will translate into more add-ons as well as new future product. I think ED already has a very clear idea of not only what their CIS customers want, but us westerners as well. I believe that a new product by ED will bring many of the improvements we are all begging for--dynamic campaign, better AI, dedicated server, improved russian avionics, and hopefully a NATO multi-role fighter!!
  24. I think the MiG-23/27 would rock! But before that, it would be nice to have some Euro planes: Mirage 2000 or possibly a Jaguar (keeping with the single seater theme). Some cool Jaguar pics: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/AWA1/101-200/walk132_Jaguar/walk132.htm http://www.gatwick-aviation-museum.co.uk/jaguar/jaguar.html http://sepecat.info/
