  1. actually- some pretty awesome mountains & canyons in Nevada..
  2. 727 L (british pound, I presume?) is $1171 usd...... (source: free itouch converter app- so don't bitch at me if it's wrong)
  3. No- but controllers plugged into hubs are the First thing a "support tech" will blame it on- true or not.. To avoid what might be a ruse to get you out of their hair -endeavor to get your controllers into the MB. Try to limit hub use to printers and other stuff.. That's all I'm sayin' That and a couple items that might save people a port or 2
  4. I didn't want one either... forced into it cause I'm not working- thus cannot get one these sweet new MB's with 10 ports on em.. For anyone else paying attention- ALL my flight controllers are plugged into the main board. The Powered HUB has my canon multi & my HD webcam..
  5. heh.. yeah I just had to get a 7 port to hook up a webcam I got for Xmas.. And I had already added a 2 port finger plate to get to 8 total.. One of my front ports takes care of at least 3 devices that are not permanently plugged in: Camera, Itouch, ext. SSD, But Succellus- you could condense a little- A separate scanner & printer? :D Also- FWIW- My microphone/ headphones work great from my front side phonojack. But- I HAD to use that because the USB adaptor that the headset came with was so frickin BLOATED it blocked the port next to it...
  6. Got some driver? What does that mean? Did you install the drivers & SST software? Did you just plug it in?
  7. http://www.moviewavs.com/php/sounds/?id=bst&media=MP3S&type=Movies&movie=Star_Wars_Episode_IV_A_New_Hope&quote=tiefighters2.txt&file=tiefighters2.mp3 :joystick: without the background music of course..
  8. One of these days- I'm gonna make my A10 engines sound like a TiE Fighter... flybys: L33T
  9. I'll look for the switch.. (jeopardy theme) OK So ctrl+P to bring up nav lights, but then the position switch on panel to steady. Flip to flash for takeoff.. The bright/ dim switch is a judgement call, yeah? Bright for daytime, etc..
  10. Difference between anti collision and nav lights is the flashing? Thanks to effte for the clarification on the strobe..
  11. Heh heh.. I suppose there could be a valid case for cleaning up a few stickies on a few subforums..
  12. yep- current internal build. That's what I meant- but didn't have that term handy. :)
  13. Airbrakes can be adjusted infinitely- try to find a balance of throttle and brake that slows you or keeps you in that 130 kt range as you cross the threshold of the runway.. Your glideslope can mess you up- If you come in too high or too low you'll end up making some sort of major correction. Allow enough real estate to set up a good approach- no need to force a 4 mile approach and landing.... In the absence of an ILS- You can still set your HSI course to the actual numerical heading of the runway. Example: Sochi 06- approach from the sea-would be set as 061 The HSI CDI (course deviation indicator) will then provide some localization (lineup) assistance. I other words- there's a LOT that can go wrong on a landing.. It's a process that will often punish you if you shortcut it too much...
  14. I'm going to guess it is a beta 5 clip- no pauses on the GAU action..
  15. Yeah it needs the receiver,(for lack of a better term) and the ability to process that signal..
  16. 1........2.......3........4........ :idiot:
  17. Lonecrow- you need to get online, bud. Learning this thing 100% on your own is madness..
  18. Yes. There is a wide/ narrow FOV on the Maverick itself, plus you can and should be using the optics of the TGP to set up a Maverick strike anyway..
  19. Plus- the rack itself may or may not be compatible anyway. I don't know this- edit heh... This Raytheon Sheet sort of implies simplicity.. http://www.raytheon.com/capabilities/products/stellent/groups/public/documents/content/cms04_016401.pdf Yeah, bubba. This supersonic suppository practically fires itself! Use the screens you got- just chuck in one of them CLC gadgets an git r dun!!
  20. It's in the manual. You might find a beta mistake, but it's there.
