  1. Is the dark grey going to be the default Su-34 camo from now on or is it unit-dependant? Because if that's the case we could use some skins :P The A-50 looks fantastic in those colours too :D EDIT: Could these dark grey paint schemes be some new RAM coating of sorts?
  2. It's the new previously secret DCS:[Real] World update to DCS:World. 1 pixel/mm reproduction, now simulating flight-hour costs and budget cuts. Your yearly flight hours allowance varies on which country you're listed in the logbook, and after you've reached your limit, it automatically redirects you to DCS:[Real]Combined Arms, where you're tasked with cleaning the beer glasses at the squadron's common room. Once your country releases its new military budget for the next year, the sim's new Dynamic Campaign engine tells you if you will remain in the squadron and claim your flying hours, or if you've been transferred to an administrative assistant's position in your AF/Army's headquarters at the country's capital. Then you'll be allowed a particular number of flight hours in the back of a C-130/Yak-40/707 (again, depending on the country) during visits to frontline airfields, from where you can admire the scenary when your superior is asleep. The 1.6 update will introduce the possibility of becoming a flight instructor at your country's Air Force Academy, with improved newbie student AI beh- OK I'll stop. :music_whistling: Wonderful news that we're getting such a beautiful, legendary and versatile helo, thank you so much!
  3. Brazilian Air Force Mi-35M4 Hind/AH-2 Sabre, modernised with Israeli avionics.
  4. Personally, character development. Makes the experience much more personal, and also makes the action scenes more intense, as now you have more intimacy with that tiny 3D helmet in the cockpit. For a good example, the all-time classic Bill et John had hilarious action scenes, but they were twice as much fun because you knew both Bill and John, and how each handled their stupidity differently. In the Il-2 Sturmovik community, there's a movie called "Twilight Of The Gods" which used CGI humans and the simulator to create a pretty moviing story too.
  5. A Brazilian Air Force Mi-35 at night (blue light from rotor tip's LEDs - turned off after take-off).
  6. Hey everyone, I've been out of these forums for a long time but now I'm back to playing (rather, flying - we're all self-titled professionals here :D) Flaming Cliffs 2. I bought the game while living in good ole Moscow and, as expected, it is in Russian. Hoooowever, while the game and the campaigns seem to speak fluent Russian (congratulations on that, Flaming Cliffs), I seem to have lagged behind in the lessons and long story short my Russian is subpar. I'm really interested in playing the campaigns, but my Russian just can't keep up. Would any of you kind lads/lassies be able to link me to somewhere I can download the default campaigns from, or upload them here? I have only been able to find "Over The Hump" online, but no sign of Revanche, Cold War Warrior and all the others. :helpsmilie: Thanks for the help :)
  7. :megalol: Can't rep :D
  8. Classic :D
  9. I have to say, the JF-17 has some pretty sexy lines. At the same time it gives you that minimalist impression the F-5 gives you, but it also has that stylish look usually particular to delta-winged aircraft. I don't know how to put it into words, but it's one beautiful aircraft. Great photos, airea, thanks for sharing!
  10. I think someone had posted that one here before and it was proven to be 'shopped in the end. Looks pretty sharp though :)
  11. Uh, drones are controlled by humans, mostly. And if remotely controlled aircraft weren't popular, R/C and virtual events such as VFAT wouldn't have such a public.
  12. W-w-w-wait, w... what? :(
  13. The Wet William Tell, for advanced users:
  14. One sexy bastard that Super Flanker.
  15. Damn Jedis :D
  16. Do you do liver?
  17. For those who haven't read it, please pay a minute of your attention to do so now, you will be thankful later:
  18. Happy birthday!/Feliz aniversário! :)
  19. This is probably the most awesome typo in the history of texting :megalol: :D:D:D
  20. Couldn't stop laughing the first time I read this :megalol:
