  1. If you need any triggers I can help with lua
  2. Hello, as there is no Air to Air training Mission for the AJS37 Viggen, I took it upon myself to create one for general use. Attached is the mission file. Again I offer this mission to Heatblur to include with their AJS37 module as part of their training missions. Video of the Mission is at; I contemplated trying to edit the files to include it in the training missions but even if successful every update overwrites the edits and it's best to stay clear of that directory anyway. So for now just open it like any other mission. For bragging rights - I can hit the IL-76 at 6kms with the Rb-05A 12 - AJS37 Air to Air Training.miz
  3. Hello, I've modified the Visual landing training mission for anyone who wishes. CHANGES: Added voice over - instead of reading the instructions. (English only) Modified the text instruction slightly for clarity and brevity add a couple of small graphics fixed the error in that you are NOT landing a Kutaisi as stated in the text but Senaki-Kolkhi Minor stuff I know but the speech really helps To install it either load it as a mission or if you have administrator rights, copy it to your eagle dynamics installation folder, c:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\Missions\Training\ (or what ever path yours is) If Heatblur wants to add it 'officially' I have zero objections. Enjoy, 05 - AJS37 Training visual landing.miz
  4. So I re did the track files and saved them into 3 formats. One for 1080p, one for 1440p and one for 2160p (4k) as well another video about them https://youtu.be/OC8WS8eiHHM Ran all three on different computers so should work with these settings. Benchmark Run 1080p.trk Benchmark Run 1440p.trk Benchmark Run 2160p.trk
  5. I've create two icons for anyone that wants to use them for those that have both executables mapped. DCS MT Icon 2.ico DCS MT Icon.ico Save the .ico files to a location of your choosing. For those that need to know; right click on the shortcut on your desktop and select Properties Select 'Change Icon' and browse to where you've saved the .ico file Select open and select the icon. That's it DCS MT Icon 2.ico DCS MT Icon.ico
  6. Yes, the track file is broken with this patch. (sigh) Two issues with I see; #1 after launching the Kh-58U's at the SA-6 units they fail to loft and/ or track and just fly into the ground. - they are broken as well #2 the AI fly's the Su-25T into the ground right after launching the Kh-58U.. I've re flown the mission with 4 Kh-25MPU and use them for the SEAD on the SA-6's but haven't uploaded the track yet. (need to record the views part) I'm curious to see the how it handles the MASSIVE carpet bombing on Nalchik. In ST mode pre patch the FPS dropped to 14 I believe - HEAVY GPU and CPU load. Will upload it shortly, I will also put my monitor in 1440p and run it as well to compare.
  7. The programs, CapFrameX and RTTS do both work in VR - I don't see the overlay in VR but the benchmark data is collected. Also track files do NOT control your view in VR, so you need to fly it yourself.
  8. So I created a track file and benchmark 'procedure' to yield results that can be compared against each other. I also created a YouTube video to demonstrate how I use it. https://youtu.be/6y5n0uewpsE The Track file and my bench mark results are all captured in 4K. The settings I used for all the benchmark runs are; This is a list of benchmarks run using the above setting and the track file in case anyone wants to compare results. Going to be curious when Vulkan arrives. Benchmark Run.trk
  9. I completely forgot that, thank you!
  10. Not sure I would agree, 1 Vs 1 Hornet / Su-27 (AI Ace) the Hornet wins. I will usually 'WASTE' a 120C to break the lock of the ER while cranking + diving. Re-engage and follow up with a second or third 120 as needed. If the Su-27 wins then it's probably because I messed up. Mig-29S different story being Fox-3 capable. The issue I have with the Hornet, is the RADAR, things like swapping sweep azimuth and range is easier in the F-16. Not having an actual MFD button to push I need to mouse click and thus removes hand from Flight stick. As well I find it harder to acquire locks with the 18 vs the 16. The RADAR is the issue for me. I thought I read somewhere the F-16 RADAR is still in development and more changes to come BUT not 100% on this, if so it may become more difficult to lock, (realistic?), as well. Compare the ease of the F-15C to the F/A-18C to lock targets. Completely agree the F-16 acceleration allows for a larger margin of error but usual load out with the F-16 is 4 long and 2 short sticks. The F/A-18 can bring 10 long and 2 short, but normally no more than 6 long for me but still gives me a couple of extras to 'waste'. You' re right the AI is exploitable, and even human vs human 16 or 18 vs Su-27 is still advantage 16/18, (IF the human is careless enough to be in open sky).
  11. Sure no problem, here you go. F-16 Tracking Continues Tracking After FCR off.trk

    You're right, the I didn't read my reference article close enough, they only went into production post WWII and in development in 1944. Good information, thank you
  13. The F-16 RADAR will still track a locked target after the FCR displays OFF on the MFD and the FCR switch is turned off. 4:27 mark of this video illustrates it.
  14. So we were flying in a server our group has set up and we noticed, (myself included), that the F/A-18C's we missing more than the F-16's. So I did an analysis on it. Made a video of my analysis and I wasn't surprised by the results. ED has done a good job on this. For reference;
