  1. Oh, I haven't read this, but anyway I hope that some FM tweaks will be coming, at least camera shake on the ground or mach tuck camera shaking will be corrected.
  2. I think they are going to update the flight model to PFM standards for the updated frog. But as far as I know and have a lot of experience with current Su-25, its basic flight characteristics are quite well done and it can be flown by the book. I suspect mainly ground handling, suspension modeling and some areas around the edge of flight envelope would need some work.
  3. I think that FF Su-25 is really a low hanging juicy fruit for ED. With updated 3D model and cockpit there is not that much that needs to be implemented/researched to make it full fidelity. Most of the instrumentation including RWR is done for Mi-24/Mig-29A/L-39/KA-50, weapon system is already modeled correctly. We have all navigation systems already in the game like RSBN/ARK. Flight model is basically done. Gunsight is nearly the same as in Mi-24. All the weapons are already modeled well, so I think it could be pulled off with not that much effort and I sincerely hope that also ED is thinking this way.
  4. I agree with you all, very much needed to simulate rocket suppression, FAC, etc.
  5. +1, this is still not implemented.
  6. ... and wouldn't the outer rail Maverick damage optics of the TGP when carried?
  7. I can confirm this, I had this happen two times already in my missions. After AI destroyed its target it went rogue flying straight and level not responding to any commands until it was properly shot down by a SAM
  8. If you are just operating the switch ARC/RSBN then it is the correct behavior. This switch only selects what is present on the HSI if it is ARC signal or RSBN signal. The distance counter is independent on it and is connected to RSBN, so this means it always shows the distance to the currently selected RSBN navigation channel as long as you have valid signal and unless you switch the RSBN completely off by its own circuit breaker switch on the right-side panel.
  9. Thanks Flappie, I did not know that the perspective was intentional, thanks for reporting it.
  10. Su-25A has a strange rearview mirror picture geometry, this has recently been issue with Su-25T where it is corrected, but in Su-25A the perspective is very strange and you really cannot see what is behind you, but rather down and in-front of the wings. Shown in the picture:
  11. I just do not fly the Mi-24P without the voice of Petrovich. It is really painful during an attack run to watch out for the message "in range" when it appears in the corner. At least some voice overs would be great like "Fire/Missile off", "Target In range", "Target Hit", "Target Missed", "Weapons Ready", "Countermeasures employed", "Countermeasures out". Using the Hind without voice overs from the CPG makes it very unrealistic regardless of systems modeling in my opinion.
  12. Thanks Flappie for reporting it, I saw the topic, but thought it is only about the tutorial not CCRP, let's hope it gets finally fixed soon.
  13. This bug was reported some 8 years ago and even acknowledged. I see that some bugs are being addressed, so I will try to report it once more. Thanks for considering it. Description: CCRP in Su-25A will release bombs without consent immediately after pressing trigger when set to ripple and with delay. The bug does not happen when the delay is set to zero with ripple or a single bomb is dropped. The problem is related only to the non-zero delay, so there must be some small bug in the code. It does not depend on laser warm-up time. Track attached. SU-25_CCRP_problem.trk
  14. SU-22 confirmed M4 would be great
  15. The standard operating for Mig-21BIS procedure is to lower full flaps at the outer marker, this means around 4-5km from the runway (speed around 360-380 km/h, radar alt at around 260-300 meters).
