Here are some pics of cannon trigger construction here it is cut to length,hole drilled for shaft and marked with tape on top. No fileing the tape. You can see the 8" " Half Round" file that I used to cut the curve " top right of pic ". " top right". Edit: Will provide detailed dimentions later, drawing not finished.

Grip is wired. switches working ,diodes are in. Windows test next. Brake is giving Me trouble. Wasted half day going in circles. 17 wires needed so far. Brake, axies to be added for 24 wires total.

The back side. The weaponsdisable/cannon ready switch guide is screwed in from rear. Other 2 from front, with nuts. Lengths still need to be determined.

Hi Bad crc its not done yet . I will post pics with descriptions soon. Here is the switch guides/mounts installed. I used the same material as for the shaft bushings,1/4"Dia. steel tube , threaded 1/4" 28 unc. 3 holes are tapped . The 2 nuts are for mounting swithes with brakets. will make a drawing for locations. soon.

The zip strap is holding the wire in place.

Here you can see the shaping of the weapons trigger [top] so that it will open wide. The new shaft dia. is still throwing me suprises. NOTE: After bending the legs on the triggers, they may need to be shorter to mount on base with shaft.The cannon trigger legs can be cut short . The inside weapon leg is more complex. The end needs to be cut on a radius from the center of the shaft bushing.The length of this leg is 1/8" short of contacting the base when weapons trigger is lifted.The outside leg wont need any trimming. A drawing will follow. MARK.

HERE is how the weapons trigger is offset. With 2 scrapes of the same material as the trigger placed on either side of the offset in a vice squeeze real hard. there is a 1/4-3/8" gap between the 2 pieces of scrap. this is where the offset will transition.I used tape to mark the bend.

Bearing installation. Steel tube 1/4" dia., threaded into hole, cut off both sides flush with a hacksaw. Do this for all 6 holes. Hole placement: ........................................................ FOR LESS CONFUSION MEASUMENTS WILL BE REFERED TO PARTS IN THEIR FLIGHT POSITION.................................. After bending First mount shaft in base . The shaft is horizontally centered on the base, 5/8"fwd. of the back side of the base [mount point].Next mount the cannon trigger.Horizontaly on center {about 1/4" from top]. The trigger rides close to the shaft . looking down there should be a gap [clearance] of 1/8" between the fwd. side of the shaft and the back side of the trigger. Lay the trigger face down on a table and measure from the table surface up on both sides. For the weapons trigger add 1/4" to the cannon measurement. so when viewed from top down, there is a gap of 3/8" between fwd side of shaft and rear side of weapons trigger

Here are the cut parts. cannon trigger,leaver arm are allready bent. The cannon trigger was wraped around a piece of 1/4" steel plate in a vice with a hammer. NOTE: TRY TO BEND THE MATERIAL YOU USE BEFORE THE PART IS LAYED OUT AND CUT. very frustrating when it cracks. I found some aluminum just wont work. Keep trying .The older stuff seames to work better.I think they keep rolling it longer and longer to get more and more . bend slowly with light blowes from a hammer, about 40 wacks for a 90 deg. bend.

I have been asked for more Info on Trigger . I have started a new one,and can better document the method that I am using. There will be some changes to the new design . One peice weapons trigger.Slightly larger shaft with steel inserts "bushings" for better ware resistance and a change to the cannon ready switch . untill its finished, there could be more changes, as some times good ideas come before the part is made as aposed to after . The steel inserts are an example of this . I will post a drawing right away

Whats going on here!? I checked and export false intelivibe true.Blackshark in world with helios, shkval, abbris,saitek joystick, head tracker, tsf-3,and Brydlings board {for abris and home made rudder} WORKING to all together. A10 not installed. --- This might be problem for you. I had to add the intelliVIBE=true myself . Cant remember if I disabled export or it was done on install. TomDK I tried to post config. file but cant figure out how. Do I need to First post it on the internet? Ifso what site would I use? PS DCS CA working fine last night. Alowed me to enter ground vehicles and a/c.

JG14 smil I have TFS 3 and am running DCS World with B.S. 2 , works fine . I upgraded to latest version this past dec. 25-30 When I installed D.C.S. C.A. SO everything is up to date.Running Helios to.I have noticed that I cant get into vehicals When TFS and Helios are running with D.C.S. C.A. , only fly. Just C.A. I can switch A/C , ground vehical just fine. Gadroc Why is it a no go ? I am building KA-50 pit and really want to keep my TFS 3 in it.I feel I am about to here more complicated bad news . Seat dimentions Base-19 and 3/4" wide x 16 and 1/4 " deep. Back- 19 and 3/4" wide at bottom ,11" wide at top x 17 and 3/4" high. PS Helios was a great invention I love it . Mark Edit; Forgot THickness, Base-3", Back 2". I took about 1.25" off the bottom of my pit seat to retain same seat hight.

I will use GLKD3 switches I got last june . Just checked Ebay and still available 50 switches for $35.00 Included shiping and took one mounth delivery. They worked well for modding AS they come apart easy to change led coulor. TOO bad 50 square white leds will cost more than the switches.$1.00 a switch not bad. JG14 Helios can do this ... will need more monitors ... its an idea to ponder. Mark.
