  1. Hello all, Decided to hang my APU gage on the wall like a real ka-50. I must make a wall first. So here are some pics of my Left wall, or the damm door hole as I have come to call it.
  2. I too am very interested in this for Black Shark. Look al over closest I found is Called a Gutar switch , Some have 4 positions but its linear travel.I didnt find out if they can even be used as inputs due to the way it must be wired. And Triggerhappy also tryed to make one in his build thread but he didnt post a compleation of it. It was the APU/TURBO GEAR/LEFT ENG/RIGHT ENG. start switch. Greatful for any info. Mark. T
  3. Wouldnt this spring push the lip down instead of up? Look at it this way, try to imagine your trigger[canon] as one of the toggle wings. Its helpful if you have one in your hand to look at
  4. The spring is from a 1/8" toggle bolt . Its funny you mention kitchen, because I have been putting mine off for years . Maybe this summer, for sure by next .:music_whistling: Mark.
  5. Hi clyber , looks really good. FFB is the way to go here IMO. Its on my to do list. Getting ahold of 2 MSFFB sticks is also a challange to progess on it. Look forward to see how you do it . Mark
  6. Looks really good Clyber. Triger looks well made, strong. So what are you going to mount under it? Mark.
  7. Hi Randy, I just looked again and see that I wrote center view hieght = 3840. This should be width = 3840. sorry. Warhog is right about Easy Monitor Configurator. E.M.C. work very well for this. Its from Icemaker and there is a thread in the mod.section that explains how to use it. I will look for link and add it here. It also lets you add more stuff Like Ekran,PVI-800,Flare dispencer.ect I list Black shark items but there are item for a10 too. Warhog. I tryed It once and liked it. Right now Pit building takes all my time. I look forward to trying again soon Mark Here is a link for ECM http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/270123/ That link is not woking Here is a link to the thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=71831
  8. Hi Randy, if I understand correctly, You want the mfcd panels on Your cockpit view, Cockpit view to span 3 screens and helios on 4th monitor. Then set center viewport hieght = 3840 and center aspect to 3.75 MFCD in correct location - no change Helios , Use Helios profile editor to relocate gages to 4th monitor, but try running sim first to see location after you edit center view. Your game option settings are correct with the above change. Note that it is important to use" NOTE PAD ++ "to edit lua. files.
  9. Hi Randy, It looks like you have the wrong values in your config lua. Post your monitor resolutions for more help.
  10. There is an intresting post at iVibe forum. Could this be why MSFFB joystick was discontinued? This reminds me of the pulse windsheild wiper inventer.
  11. My experiance with this problem has allways been editing mistake in monitor lua. file. And Disable full screen when using multi monitor set up. Mark.
  12. Hello all. Been hard at it wiring . got things running again. Here are some pics . Tried using flash this time . It drowns out the lights but really brings out the detail and makes every indicator appears to be on.Still Have to configure a bunch of swithches but I can fly again. Mark.
  13. Good to here Clyber , will pm you on image inst. Mark.
  14. There is a recent post by Craig that things are still the same but he is not giving up .He may have to re tool from the ground up? he also said that making it open sorce is an option. He's open to ideas as well. Mark.
  15. After a day of squating, kneeling and crouching behind the pit wiring ,my body aches all over. It is a very ackward to do. The fact that it is the last step in the process is helpfull. I should have put the pit in the center of the room, but moving it now would be a heck of a job. I only have one room in the basement, the rest being unfinished. Lots of space to build a custom pit room .Lots of work too.
  16. Here is the wires and I need to add a few more . I can hardly fit down there to work.
  17. Thanks guys, glad you like. I have just noticed, that I have been calling the right panel the left panel . I will go back and edit, sorry. Simulatoregp, Your recent pics of your fuel cut-off valves got me to take a new look at my own. So I spent the weekend fooling around with then instead of wiring. Thanks. Of all the things in pit builing wireing is my least enjoyablle task. I need to post a pic of the mess. The pic posted before is the neat side. So here is a before a after. needs paint [/url] .
  18. Thanks Guys. Will post some pic in flight when its running again, got a lot of configuring to do again and a bit of wiring. Mark.
  19. Panel backlighting is all in. Looks good. There are some leakages her and there, mostly edges and the pvi 800 needs more lights. heres the pics.
  20. Hi Clyber, you use any interface board that supports analog inputs. Im using Brydlings " B256A13". Price wise, these boards are a bargain if you need a lot of inputs. It allows 256 digital "switches" and 13 analog "pots or hall effect sencors" to be used. You can get them in the for sale section of this forum. Mark.
  21. Here is a walk around of pit pics in the flight position.
  22. That looks really sweet. Nice work. Mark.
