Are you sure it's not a Red threat circle? Maybe a Red naval unit?

I noticed that the Huey is moving toward a funcional 2 man crew, at least after seen the Copilot Trim, Copilot Radio , Copilot Weapons Rel ecc. But I can be whrong... My question is: will the Trigger located on the Grip assembly be reproduced in the future? Here is an image from the Technical Manual, I have encircled the Trigger. The manual say: The Actuator Bar work as Safety Mechanism. If this Trigger is implemented, the Pilot and Copilot will be able to shoot together; the Pilot the Rockets with his own Reticule Sight and the Copilot the machine guns in flexible mode without the need to change the swithc in the Weapons Panel.

V Radar Altimeter AN/APN-209 Description. The radar altimeter set is a high resolution pulse radar that provides an indication of absolute clearance over all types of terrain. The set consists of the following: a panel mounted height indicator receiver transmitter (located on copilot instrument panel); a panel mounted remote height indicator (located on pilot instrument panel) and two flush mounted antennas on the underside of the helicopter. The controls and displays of the height indicator receiver-transmitter (IRT) and the remote height indicator (Rl) are identical (see fig). Absolute altitude is displayed by a pointer and a digital readout. The pointer operates against a fixed dial and indicates tens of feet between 0 to 200 feet, and hundreds of feet between 200 to 1500 feet. Above 1500 feet the pointer is driven behind a mask. The digital display has a four digit readout. The readout is displayed in one foot increments up to 255 feet. At 256 feet the display is rounded up to 260 feet. Between 260 and 1500 feet the readout is displayed in tens of feet. The LO SET control knob functions as the on-off switch and is the low altitude trip point adjustment. Clockwise rotation turns the set on. Continuing a clockwise rotation provides for the setting of the low altitude bug . The HI SET control knob provides for the setting of the high altitude bug. Depressing the HI SET control knob places the altimeter set in the self-test mode. The IRT sends a simulated signal of 1000 feet to both indicators. The indicators display the information via the pointer and digital readout. Whenever the indicated altitude drops below the low altitude bug setting the LO altitude waming lamp is activated. Whenever the indicated altitude goes above the high altitude bug setting, the HI altitude warning lamp is activated. When the LO SET control knob is turned to OFF, or during periods of unreliable operation, the OFF flag comes into view. Reflex Sight XM60/XM60E1 Locking Lever [RShift + M] A spring tension lever that fits into either keyway to lock mounting bracket in desired position. Reticle Lamp Switch [No Keyboard Control yet] A three-position toggle switch used to illuminate the reticle. Has two "on" positions and one "off" position. Reticle Intensity (Control) [No Keyboard Control yet] On Upper left side of the sight. Turning clockwise increase reticle illumination intensity; turning counterclockwise decrease intensity. Elevation/Depression Knob w/ Scale [No Keyboard Control yet] On left side of sight. Used to move reticle image vertically. Unless knob is depressed, a click is audible as each graduation passes index. Scale numbered in 5-mil increment show 360 mils excursion. White numbers indicate elevation; Red mumbers indicate depression. Inclinometer Assembly Indicate Aircraft turn and bank attitude.

Did you located all the necessary Controls around and behind the Reflex Sight? Except for the lowering mechanism (Locking Lever) in front of you and controllable with both mouse and the new Keyboard command [RShift + M], the others work only with mouse.
-
By default the reticule lamp is turned off and at lower intensity (0). From the stowed position you can easily turn on the Reticule Lamp Switch. Now you can extend the sight by pressing the Locking Lever (RShift + M, or with the mouse on the actual Lever). In the extended position turn the Reticule Intensity Control to the desired level and you are good to go.

The PeterP's method??? He call it "Unchain Rudder from Trim". It is for Ka-50 but maybe is ok also for the Mi-8.

Mi-28 doesn't use the same missile as the Mi-24. But I agree that the elevate precision of the Mi-24 and BMP-2 cannon, both without laser ranging devices, is way too hight.

Secondo me è un BUG statistico.
