I appreciate your honesty and (believe it or not) understand as I am an addict as well. Having said that, this is the problem with our fan base. If we continue to blindly support poor work product then that’s what we’ll continue to get. Unfinished modules that the devs claim the next, new module will provide resources to finish what we’ve already paid for. People actually defend poor work product, shady practices and unkept promises here because they are scared to death their supplier will cut them off. Amazing psychology to watch.

ED, I love you and this wonderful simulation you work so hard to produce for us. We have such wonderful times because of you - thank you! I mean that. Every word. I also need you to hear me that I’m getting pretty frustrated with SC and the state that it’s in. So much so, I’ve essentially stopped flying my F-18 because, why bother? Other modules can drop ATG ordinance and everything works. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to spend twenty minutes carefully obsessing about a mission, the load out, the path in and out, setting up the radios, the avionics, making sure SRS is working, getting the cockpit setup and configured only to be notified that while in the chalks with one engine running, canopy up, completely motionless that I have just kamakazied everyone on the deck and outright destroyed a few of my deck mates, I’m now missing a wing and everyone’s pissed off. Ya gotta fix this ED, and now. I understand not having the RR ready as an early access, but the rubber banding issue is unacceptable and remains so. I can work with you, I’m a patient guy. I need to be respected however, and treated as though my experience matters to you. I don’t want more than I paid for, I simply want basic functionality at this point. I can wait for the really shiny stuff. That was the deal. Early access is missing some features, got that, understood, two bags full, no problem. However, we never agreed SC would be missing basic functionality. Some features, yes. Basic functionality? No, never. Said with love, fix this and do it now. Enough with the excuses.

FEB’d with a resultant loss of wings and almost assuredly separated from the Navy. Formal charges VIA a court martial would be entirely possible. You’d be lucky to get out with something better than “less than honorable”. It’s a fun question, but we are talking about deadly serious things, when in the real world. Ignoring a wave off not only jeopardizes yourself and your airframe, but who knows how many other lives/airframes on the ship itself. Very serious stuff. ETA: I’m assuming the OP meant the pilot just decided ‘naw, I’m landing’ versus some obvious and legit reason this might happen.

Complain away, just realize you’re pissing into the wind and no matter how much or how loudly you protest, none of that wasted effort or time will make SC available one millisecond sooner. Here’s how you “fight the man”: don’t pay for pre orders. But we did and it was delayed (it was a “pre order” after all). We’re all disappointed. We all have to cowboy up on this one. It sucks, you’re right. I bet nobody is more disappointed than ED. ETA - I am only talking about your comments, not you. I’m not trying to insult you. If I came across that way, I apologize sincerely. ETA - actually, one of my comments WAS snippy and I just edited it to hopefully be more polite.

Hi all. I’ve read through many of these comments and have a slightly different outlook. I’m probably significantly older than the average demographic for the game, but I’m happy to say I hear and speak to many people in my age bracket. I only mention that because there have been a whole slew of massive debacles I’ve witnessed in my decades of gaming (starting with the C64 and a game that took fifteen minutes to load - from a cassette). I can assure you the stuff going on here doesn’t even touch the stuff I’ve witnessed. Anyone remember Derrick Smart and his “neural AI” nonsense? THAT was a debacle. Star Wars Galaxies was a debacle. SC is delayed, not a debacle. Look ladies and gents, this is a very complex game. I don’t think for a second anyone at ED is actively engaged in some sort of coverup or malfeasance. Some posters need to unplug for a bit and relax. I’m super disappointed too. Yes, I prepaid. This next part is really tough, but honest: if you’re sweating “missing” the $30 spent preordering SC you probably shouldn’t have spent the money in the first place. That’s your problem, not EDs. Because we gambled on a preorder (which is nothing but a promise in good faith) and then that pre order was delayed, hence the term “pre-order”, then too bad for us. It sucks, but that’s the way it is. It’s not like there’s something malicious going on. We’re all going to survive, I promise. Seriously, stop all the whining lads - it’s gonna be ok.

Thank you for responding. There are two entries for the collective: collective up and collective down; each mapped to a keyboard shortcut by default. My TM throttle acts as my collective, the slider on the TM quadrant is mapped to the twist throttle on the collective. The keyboard short cuts work, but who the heck wants to fly like that? I can control the twist throttle VIA The throttle quadrant slider as normal but moving my TM throttle does not move the collective up or down, as it normally does.

Hello all, My Warthog throttle isn’t recognized as the collective by the Huey module, although the throttle IS recognized as the collective for the other two helicopter modules. I don’t see any way to program the collective to the throttle within the options menu. Anyone have the slightest idea how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

The F-18 module includes the Carrier Stennis and the SU-33 module includes the Russian ramp carrier.
