reported Can't run bin-mt/dcs.exe after OpenBeta Server Update
Ticker replied to hoggles's topic in Installation Problems
I have the same issue - did the full cleanup and repair. I think that the problem is that I run a dedicated server without any GUI-option and that type of install doesn't have the bin-mt-folder that DCS tries to access in DCS 2.9. -
@NineLineis this a reported bug? I just verified that the issue still remains in the latest Open Beta.

Patch notes for Caucasus: Improved TAD maps at 1:500k scale (used on MFD in A-10, F-16, F/A-18) There is no TAD map in the F-16 and I'm pretty sure that ED has mentioned that this is not accurate for the Block 50 that we have in DCS. Any thoughts on this?

Has anyone managed to create a skin for the motorized billboard that is avaliable as a static object since the release of the South Atlantic Map? The textures are avaliable at \DCS World\CoreMods\tech\SouthAtlanticAssets\Textures\Static\Billboards I have tried the "usual" \Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\Billboards\XXX\ but that doesn´t work with or without a description.lua I generated from the Model Viewer. livery = { {"ADVERT1", DIFFUSE , "Advertisements", false}; {"ADVERT2", DIFFUSE , "Advertisements2", false}; } Any ideas?

@NineLine, It's still an issue. First example - Senaki Kolkhi According to the chart I'm on taxiway November intersecting taxi Delta, but the sign indicates that I'm on Bravo intersecting Echo. Second example - Vaziani According to the chart I'm on taxiway Sierra intersecting taxi Delta, but the sign indicates that I'm on Foxtrot intersecting Bravo. There are probably a lot more errors throughout the entire maps airports. I don't know if the charts or the signs are correct, but they should at least indicate the same.

I have been running a DCS OB-server for some time using the default port 10308 without any issues. Now I want to host the server using a different port and this just won't work. I have changed the port on the server to the one I want and the log tells me it is using that port and I have changed the Windows firewall rules to use the new port instead, I have also of course changed the port forwarding in my router but no go. I have tried to disable the Windows firewall completly but that doesn't solve the issue and if I start the server any port checker online will tell me that the port is open when the server is online and closed when offline. In the multiplayer menu the server won't show up and if I try to connect to it by IP it will just say server offline. Using another computer on the same LAN hosting a server on the default 10308 port or changing the port to 10308 on the dedicated server (with adjustments in the port forwarding in the router) works perfectly fine. What am I missing? As I wrote, port checkers shows the port as open, but the server don't broadcast as online for some reason. And yes, the client trying to connect is on the same version of the game.

Good luck! Unplug/reboot/replug after the regedit.

If that doesn´t work, try this. Still works for Win 11:

Well, I have a fresh Windows 11 install and a Reverb G2 and I can use it in DCS or any other app. There was indeed a problem during the install, but it is solvable. Try this:

[CHK] Station select text missing for AG-missiles
Ticker replied to Ticker's topic in Bugs and Problems
You can if you press that button, but it´s sort of invisible. -
Greetings! I have noticed that the weapon station select-text in the CNTL menu of the SMS page for AG-missiles is missing. The functionality is still there if I click the button, but the text is gone. This goes for the LS-6, GB-6 and C(M)-802 and perhaps even more weapons. I took a screenshot from an old Grim Reapers video where the text is still showing. I'm guessing that the square moving between the weapon stations replaces the text, since the whole upper part of the screen has been redesigned, but nothing indicates that the button is usable in this menu. Should there still be some sort of text or symbol at that button?

I had the same issue. The problem is that the main_2-template uses a custom RGB color profile. Convert it to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile and it will work better.
