  1. Reeaaaly? Noooooo! Sorry, I just -had- to.. :D
  2. 1. First Name, Last Name: Kenan Palangic 2. Nickname: *NOB*Perica 3. Flight Experience: DCS A-10C 1 Year 4. Age: 32 5. Languages: Croatian, English, German Commander of *NOB* Mrcine (1st financial guard battalion's 2nd company "Mrcine") and member of 1st Bomber Regiment "Pajceki" http://www.mrcine.org/
  3. I don't think there's a key. Once you change anything, that's it. No more recorded views. I think the replay could also use a rewind button.
  4. I was thinking (although I was warned not to do that), why not make an arrangement for all or at least most active A10 squads to show up on one of the servers (obviously which could handle it), take off from multiple runways and fly in one big a$$ formation and land in a certain order. We could get together on Teamspeak, of course someone would have to run the whole thing (commander) but I would like to know what do you guys think of it? Who's with me? (or better yet, who thinks I should get a life)
  5. I searched the manual but couldn't find this info. If it's in there, please point me to the page or post the answer here. Thanks.
  6. I'm guessing (as in this sim) they can't really see the refueling hole from their cockpits so they have to use their intuition or something in order to guide/connect the boom towards it OR do they simply position themselves near enough and then let the tanker guy finish the job? Thanks.
  7. Yeah, it's always like that on the first contact. You can't hold it for too long but with practice you get better and better.....
  8. ^^I believe if your tanker does that, you probably either bumped into it or got too close for comfort.
  9. ^^Ok but how does it actually work? Does it "scan" the area around? MANPAD missile is not radar guided..so how can it tell it just fired?
  10. Yeah, happened to me on my last mission. Damn cat and whoever put it there.. On a more serious note, it's a bug. Some airfields seem to have invisible "artifacts" which tend to break your wheels.
  11. 60$ for DCS: A10C would be a lot if you could fly it only once and have the disc evaporate on landing/crashing. Lifetime of enjoying it for 60$? It's a steal! So, yes, I'd always go for an original rather then worry if I'm going to be scammed or not by some shady "retailer".
  12. ^^Thanks! Looks like it has a quite a wealth of interesting informations regarding F15!
  13. ^^Thanks but...I need landing / touchdown speeds in relation to fuel weight. If there is such a document available, that is.
  14. Yo dogs wassup? Anyway, is there an unclassified manual or some similar info on landing speed vs weight calculations? We have those for (DCS) A10C and would be nice if he had the chart for F15 as well. Peace out!
  15. Don't call them dumb bombs. It's not politically correct. Call them "unguided" bombs. Just because a bomb doesn't have a fancy GPS/Laser guided system, it doesn't mean it's dumb. They're actually smart if you give them a chance.
  16. ^^Ohh...how come I didn't think of the night vision!:doh::D
  17. ^^Yeah, especially when it's night, your nav lights are off and he takes you out at 2km altitude. Perfectly normal for a single-operating MANPAD guy. Yup.
  18. ^^If they were flying 2km altitude above you (not somewhere land level over some hills) the only way you could see them with your bare eyes, military or not, is to press the tilde key and type:
  19. Sorry but I would have to disagree. Seeing a fighter-sized plane with your bare eyes at 2km and especially 5km altitude is almost impossible unless you have a super vision, let alone knowing exactly where to look at, at the specific point in time. Since this is a simulation, if those MANPADS are operating alone, they shouldn't be given any benefit of the doubt and be so deadly at the above mentioned altitudes. It's a science fiction and it shouldn't be there. Unless they have a supporting logistics, IMO the only time they should be able to knock a (fighter) plane off the sky is if it's flying low enough for them to see it.
