  1. I've got my Warthog up and running. Haven't messed with any configuration settings since it's pretty much set up out of the box for A10C. My question is that if I load up a configuration file or create one myself for something like FC2 or anything, run that file in TARGET, map axis accordingly from within the respective SIM, will the default configuration for DCS A10C still exist since I loaded up a completely new profile to the HOTAS? Is there a default mappings for the stick I can load up so I can get the stick back to the config it was originally out of the box for DCS A10C? Thanks for any help.
  2. Serial #: 01661 Location: New York, New York
  3. Okay.. i saw that you can download TARGET at thrustmaster but wasn't sure. So the stick is plug and play.. no driver installation required?
  4. I just unpacked my warthog.. it was in a sealed heavy box.. only the stick, throttle, and the hardware manual is in the box. I haven't hooked it up yet but shouldn;t have come with TARGET and drivers?
  5. I agree. I know the F16 has been simmed for ages....and although it was great, it has never really been done right or at the level A10c will be or is. The Viper has to be on this list. Other aircraft would have to be: Hornet Tornado Harrier F35 Su34 Would love to see the 15E but modeling a two seater I imagine would be difficult.
  6. So what your saying is you can also have the Warthog in another usb port along with the throttle and the cougar in a third usb and just use the Warthog software to enable the pedals connected to the cougar?
  7. I checked Amazon and they had 4 Warthogs for sale for $510. Its through Price Bros. I caved and ordered it. Thoughts of center play, analog pots, and the hours of frustration as a cougar user ( don't get me wrong.. i love the cougar, but i would be lying if i said it was headache free) Delivery date I was given was November 8th. When i just ordered it it said there was 4 brand new ones ( now 3) left.
  8. I've been sold.. i just purchased the beta for download.
  9. Three went upat beach audio through amazon for 415 and 503 but before I could finish the ordering process those were sold out and now there are 2 at 565. Im on the fence about ordering through blt. Are they reputable? At least going through amazon and ordering from a secondary vendor you get the added protection from amazon.
  10. This sounds like the way to go. I'll do this and by the time I decide to sell my cougar I'll either have gotten new pedals or will go the adapter route.
  11. Since the downloadable beta is out any ideas when pre-orders for the boxed version will be available?
  12. I'm currently a cougar user and pair it with the TM Elite rudder pedals through the gameport on the stick. Would I still be able to use my TM Elite pedals with the Warthog with a usb to gameport adapter? Thanks
  13. I've done this. Only when i reinstall to a completely new directory does it install clean. Just uninstalling in that order isn't enough.. something is still there but i don't have a clue as to what it is. Modman (uninstalled), all mods uninstalled using modman) then modman uninstalled, lock on uninstalled, asks to save registry due to sf and i hit ok, then i remove any last bits remaining after restart which is the desktop icon and the empty folder in the c:/ directory. Install to c:/program files(x86)/ubisoft/eagledynamics/lockon..... still no skin on A10 and settings pre-uninstall.
  14. I've needed to uninstall and reinstall my lockon FC1.12b installs due to a corrupt install due to a mod, but my problem has been that when i completely uninstall under win7ultimate 64 then reinstall everything the game installs and appears as if i hadn't uninstalled it. As if something is still remaining which is wierd. Firstly, could the fact that when asked to save the registry info due to starforce activation when uninstalling FC, could this be what's remaining that's preventing me from completely uninstallling all content? Secondly, since i have saved my original registry starforce activation settings when i purchased the game i really don't need to keep saving the registry when uninstalling, and need to know where are all the saved registries located when you allow the uninstaller to save them? I want to delete these additional registries. Thanks
  15. Thanks for the reply. That is what I decided to do. I purchased a hardcopy of DCSBS and I re-purchased an inexpensive copy of lomac, and I will download FC digitally. I know I have to patch everything once installed using the 1.12b patch, but i'm not sure if I have to worry about starforce.
  16. I just got back into flight sims. Used to really play the hell out of F4, IL2, and Lock-on. I am in the process of putting together a new rig and plan on running Win7 64bit. I was just going to pick up a copy of Lock-on from ebay or something, and download FC, and patch it to the latest 1.12b version. Is this an okay way about going about it, or should I just wait to find a copy of Lockon Gold and go from there? I live in the US and I heard that US copies of Lock-on gold were hit or miss. Also, I use a Cougar for my HOTAS, but I've noticed that cougar world is down and don't have the latest drivers or CCP or FSSP for the HOTAS. Would anybody know of an alternate site to find the most updated software for the Cougar? I went to Thrustmasters site and they have drives for Vista64 and the CCP and FSSP software as well, but am not sure if whats on the thrustmaster site is the latest versions. Any help would be great. Thanks?
