  1. Sorry forgot to sort out that town screenshot, I'll get it done today.
  2. Just as easy on my system whilst moving. I play on 256 resolution and have no problems what-so-ever.
  3. Your not meant to tell which is which at that distance, not even the real Litening II can do that with no zoom at that range. Your only meant to spot that there is a target then you can zoom in to identify. I'll sort out a town screenshot in an hour or so.
  4. You can also use the UFC so that you don't have to go heads down. To access mark points press FUNC + 8 then cycle through and when you want your FPLAN back just press FUNC + 7.
  5. Sorry but if you can't see them targets then I don't know what to do, they stand out a mile in that screenshot, SA-9 in the top left corner with two T-80U's, one above the cross and one on the mid right. I agree that the FLIR need's work though.
  6. Nice shots everyone. Just a few formation pictures from yesterdays multiplayer with Cibit and Lego.
  7. There are a few indications, I like to look in the bottom left data block in the HUD. You should see STPT, TGP, TAD respectively, letting you know what is currently designating your SPI.
  8. To help illustrate what a good point WarriorX made I'd like to add a screenshot here. As you can see in the picture the targets are a little over 11 miles, the TGP is in wide FOV and is not zoomed at all. I adjusted the TGP into 6G & 2L. Note the screenshot is at 256 mfd resolution and it's still pretty clear which are the targets. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1192194&postcount=3
  9. Sorry to say but the problem is still present.
  10. Thanks for the input Kuky. I will give the values you posted a test in around an hours time.
  11. Best way I can explain trim is like this... Say your flying at a speed of 230 and you trim the aircraft for hands off level flight and you suddenly increase the throttle you will see the nose rise. You are trimmed for level flight at 230 knots, if you increase throttle you speed will climb and the aircraft will nose up to bring the speed back down to 230. In theory if you were flying at the same speed and pulled the throttle into idle you would see the aircraft enter a 230 knot descent. I feel the A-10C's trim doesn't feel as precise as other aircraft, might be the sim or it might be like that in the real A-10C. I'm talking about pitch trim only here.
  12. Do you know of a way to store MGRS coords into a markpoint? Far as I've seen there isn't one so you have to use waypoints.
  13. In the waypoint page there should be a number with a funny circle symbol to the left of it, press that and it will create a new waypoint for you to edit. I do this once then I edit the same waypoint for each new target from JTAC.
  14. In single-player and campaigns your net ID should be set to 01 and 01. You access it from the TAD by pressing the OSB next to the word NET. It resets after takeoff so it's best to set this after taking off, it's vital to set this if you want to receive data from JTAC
  15. Thanks, I used to fire at 1.2 and break at 1.0 but I got tagged badly once and have started firing from further out.
  16. I mean whilst rolling, never done it myself but I've heard it mentioned on the forums. Might have been whilst taxiing though and I'm getting things mixed up.
  17. If the situation permits I'd say use the cannon on ZU-23's and ZSU-23's. From an old video in Lomac I heard that the A-10's cannon was also designed to just out-range the ZU's, line up and fire at 2.0 slant then break and jink.
  18. Your front wheel is giving resistance since it's locked as it should be at over 50 knots. This is why you see more movement when you lift the nose. Doesn't have much of a problem pivoting on the main gear though. The original poster may want to try deflecting his control stick into the crosswind if there is one. Don't think not doing this would cause the nose wheel to pop but anything is worth a try.
  19. Thanks, helps to know I'm not doing something wrong.
  20. Don't you mean FUNC + 2? Maybe you can do it both ways, never tried using 3. If you decide you no longer want to divert and want your original flight plan back then just press FUNC + 7.
  21. Already an extensive thread on the problem here, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=71769. Have a read :)
  22. I find it helps to trim nose down and keep back pressure on the stick. That's just my personal preference though, fly like that nearly all the time especially in formation flights. Even if I connect while being steady as a rock the guy still calls 'Disconnect'. It appears that I am still taking fuel though and still getting the 'Latched' message on the right side of the HUD.
  23. :megalol: I thought there might be a name for it, I never got that far into my flight training. Welcome to the forum btw.
  24. Good luck with the landings, never stops being challenging in the A-10C. Should have seen mine and Cibit's dodgy landings in multiplayer yesterday, moderate crosswind across the runway but that wasn't the challenging part. The severe turbulence when on final was, suddenly loosing 50 feet and gaining it again. Popped tires all round I think it was.

    64bit?

Only time I've seen that cause a problem is if your trying to add it as a non-steam game and your using UAC then it will only work outside of program files. Next time I reinstall I'll be placing it like you explained though.
