I went onto a server where I know there’s a group of five vehicles traveling up and down a coastal road for about 20 miles. I searched patiently with the air to ground radar for about 30 minutes. I used all 3 EXP levels but I simply could not find them among the ground clutter. I played with the brightness and the contrast but there is just too many returns with all the buildings. Unless you’re looking for vehicles out in the middle of the desert all alone it’s going to be really hard to find them. Does the real hornet have a mode that only shows moving vehicles on the radar? Like a GMT mode? Is that going to be added later on the DCS hornet?

Something changed in the last patch. I have “stereo_mode_use_shared_parser set to true” in my config and now I see Super carrier crew with both eyes!

Could you please explain maybe it would help other people that have an unexplainable stutter

Can we ground lock a moving vehicle with this latest update with the F18? Can we slave the pod to said ground lock?

With the latest patch many of my VR problems were solved. However when I am doing air to ground missions if I get close enough to the ground vehicles or they can shoot at me I still get very irritating stutters.

It is a little bit better for me In VR except when I do a low flyby of a target area with several vehicles in it. Then it becomes stuttering again. I do hope they fix this.

Okay try to keep up. The whole reason I said “NOW have a sale” is because they just had this great patch released which fixed many of the issues (at least in VR... Which is the reason many of us we’re not purchasing any more modules) . So the point is now that the game can be enjoyed at a higher level it would be wonderful to have a sale.

That’s correct. I only buy my modules on sale. Been burned too many times. You do you, Boo....I’ll do me. Now give me another sale.

I’m not sure a 3080 TI is even necessary. I run 180% on my HP reverb with a 2080 TI and it is pretty damn smooth

I disagree. I think HP learned a lot from the teething problems of the original reverb. I believe the launch of the G2 will be much smoother. Just my opinion of course

Just tried F-18 NVG’s for the first time with HP Reverb. This is still a problem.

I have a reverb (and I ordered reverb G2 as well) And I can tell you the gauges are crystal clear at 170%. But you’re gonna need the horsepower for smooth frame rate

Now that they have addressed my VR issues on a reasonable level I want to buy four modules. But I need a sale

Same. I have the highest end system you can pretty much have With an HP Reverb and I have problems in VR as well. Not really as dramatic as I making it out to be but still very irritating to have some of the studders that I have. I have suspended all my purchases at this point. I passed on the last sale all together. The update on the 15th will answer a lot of questions for me personally about DCS and whether or not I move forward with this game or go to another one. It’s all up to them at this point
