That tank has reactive armor plating, it shouldnt even really be destroyed.

The spitfire mk14 had over 2000hp and is 50mph faster than the mustang. The Mustand D? A whopping 1490hp with the Packard V12. The Spit mk9 had performances that were still better than the Mustang, but not by much.

Short work? No. It can run, it can dance, but it has no endurance. The only real advantage the spit has over the pony is horsepower, but even the mustang (and the P-40) got the upgraded Rolls Royce Merlin over the Allison V12. Its about an equal match until you put range into it. Then its the mustang by far and wide.

Maybe it does...just not operable right now. It IS a beta, and it IS behind the times...and it IS their pride and joy. I wouldnt be surprised if there was a bumpmap layer under it.

Its been explained to me that because of the DRM for the BS upgrade is incompatible with DCS World at this time, and its a low priority.

It happens when you have tool tips on and your mouse hovers above a button.

wrong forum...oops My slew control mouse button doesnt seem to work in DCS World A-10, yet it works just fine in the standalone installation. How would I go about reassigning this button/axis/whatever it is? I would think this should be set as default, but dont know what happened here...

You only need to download one patch for BS1, which is 1.0.2. OR if you are installing BS2 as well, you dont need a patch, just a valid install and/or activated version of BS1. I say and/or because it has to have at least been activated prior to installing BS2.

Didnt know Microsoft game controllers were a valid controller in BS.

Kinda what I said, but none of us would be upset if we didnt already pay 80 bucks to have BS2. Some of us even went through the trouble to get copies from Russia (like I did) when BS first came out. I dont really much care about what happened, I just get the idea we were left out in the cold on a simple fact that we paid for the upgrade instead of the full version. Ok, you spent 80 bucks for BS1 and BS2 total. Some of us spent 60 bucks on those dvds from Russia, as well as 50 bucks for BS1 download, and 20 for the BS2 update. Upset? A little. I flew BS2 for the very first time tonight, and Ive had it for 3 weeks now, and I would probably not have noticed BS2 didnt work in World had someone else not pointed it out. But Im not upset since I didnt pay for World. Just wondering that wtf question, are they really that different?

Killed a Buk in the Su-25T AntiRadar mission. Got a ghost spike the whole time afterwards in the direction of the destroyed radar. The spike stayed the same bearing and range at the time it was destroyed, and passing the destroyed radar did not alter the ghost spike direction. Ghost Spike.trk

DCS World, A-10C training. Cant exit the mission by clicking on the quit button unless I alt-tab to desktop. Edit: After testing, nothing is clickable until I alt-tab to desktop; ie no clickable switches, no clickable GUI.

I never said it WOULD work. I am in agreement with you, but Im still cheesed we're left out in the cold.

Well, one could always make an online petition for prioritizing BS2 upgrade...Id sign it. Personally, Id like to know the WHY it was left out in the first place, and Id be satisfied knowing that answer.

Well, be that as it may, BS2 still works with A-10C without DCS World, and the only issue one might have is not being able to play against the P-51. Im not really going to cry about it...honestly, I havent played BS since I took this job at Lockheed 3 years ago. I may delve back into it, but my A-10C training is in full swing now. I pretty much have the BS figured out.
