Except for the verification system...which probably uses a totally different algorithm. Perhaps its a moot point anyways, how long will it take ED to fix that?

I agree that the upgrade should work in World...hell, its not like I forked over 80 dollars for BS1 and BS2 upgrade for it NOT to work, and yeah Id say Im a little upset too. However, the upgrade AND the standalone arent the same thing! Whos to say that it would work? Maybe they had problems and are sorting it out. Im still upset, but its not like BS2 is my cup of tea.

Whats so shameful about it? I have the upgraded version as well, but whos to say that the upgrade has all of the needed components to work anyways? If thats not the case, then yeah Im a bit peeved too...but I dont really fly the BS, so Im not AS upset over it. Doesnt make it any more right.

The turboboost function brings it to 3.2ghz. Thats about where you said you want it, and if you want higher, youll have to fork out a few hundred if not a thousand more dollars to get there.

I went straight from high end laptop to my high end desktop in 6 days flat, and all it took was a few hundred dollars more. Spent 1200 bucks on that laptop, and added 300 dollars worth of SSD. I promptly returned the laptop and used that money, spent an additional 300 bucks on this video card, and voila. Dont waste your time with a laptop...their time is at an end. If you must have a portable, get a netbook or something.

I had the exact same problem with my computer when I built it. This power supply isnt modular, so I had a bunch of extra wires laying inside this damn thing. Anyways, comes to find out that the 8 pin (2x4 pin connector) power connectors near the north bridge werent plugged in all the way because the seats didnt match the board or the cables. So to fix that, I had to push those cables in nice and tight. Honestly, it sounds like you might even have a ground somewhere. What I would do is take the mobo out of the case, along with the psu. Put the mobo on its static bag, plug the psu up, mount the vga and monitor, and ground the power jumpers and turn it on outside the case. If you get the same thing, you just eliminated the ground, and/or a possibly defective case (and Ive had a few of those too).

The B had a weaker supercharger compared to the D turbosupercharger. Brix were shat.

The original settings were set up kinda funky, and I dont recall what the default settings were for them, but I did have to change the throttles to their correct axis, like the left throttle moves the left throttle and so forth, and readjusted the joystick hat switch to use its trim functions. Ill check this when I get home, but Im pretty sure nothing will happen. Ill report back when I can.

I can move my throttles forward and backwards all day long and no animation is shown until I press those key combinations, and no Im not using the TARGET software since I have no idea how to use it...yet...

Guess I wasnt clear enough. When Im told to take the throttles from the off position to idle, which requires you to lift the throttles off of the detent, nothing happens. The animation in the cockpit doesnt even show my throttle moving until after I press the ralt rctrl home keys.

I havent found any relevant info on this, but watching the training missions and reading the manual, it says that I can lift the throttles out of their detents to start the engines after the proper startup procedures. Yet when I do this, nothing happens, and wind up just having to press the RAlt and RCtrl Home keys instead. Am I missing something?

Make sure you arent full lean either on the fuel mixture setting.

Or you can just do the training mission and take notes.
