  1. Corrected for accuracy.
  2. Im still waiting for my B-One R.
  3. Would NOT want to work there.
  4. Landing, and landing in one piece are two different monsters altogether. Youll still want to keep the prop from striking the deck, and that pertains to both takeoff, taxiing, and landing. You can be taxiing at 5mph, get a gust of wind, and have the tail section lift off the ground and cause a prop strike.
  5. Dials, gauges, anything that has a face and a hand on it. In the other modules, it pertains also to the MFD and the HUD.
  6. All you really have to do while landing is idle the engine down and go low pitch on the propeller. You WILL have to pull back on the stick eventually, since its a tail dragger, and braking will cause the tail to come off the deck, and youll want to keep the tail on the ground to prevent a prop strike. But you should only pull up on the stick after you brake on the ground AND ONLY THEN when the nose starts to come down.
  7. Yup...I come home from building airplanes, I get home and fly pretend airplanes. I went to the airplane restaraunt in colorado springs last weekend. Im pretty sure I pooped airplanes that night as well. I think I need to get laid. =\
  8. Heres something that bugs me. Being an aircraft mechanic, I know that green flag tells me something, and that means I really shouldnt be revving the engine up past that green line. That engine cranks out over 1200bhp without the turbosupercharger, you dont need that much power to get airborne. Im still learning how to take off (which pisses me off too, but at least Im trying...), but I know that if you have that much power going to the prop, you are going to have a lot of torque, and its going to try to roll you in the opposite direction the prop turns. As a matter of fact, as of now I have my first takeoff! Heres the track on how its done, recorded no more than 3 minutes from this post. successful takeoff.trk
  9. F-4C Chico Gunfighter perhaps...

You can pretty much predict what Im gonna say here. :)
  11. You black out, you cant control the aircraft. Ive noticed you black out for about 30 seconds before you can do anything. Other than that, charging a round into a chamber under high G shouldnt be a factor, its all mechanical.
  12. Did you black out?
  13. Global warming wasnt a problem 65 million years ago because Al Gore wasnt invented yet.
  14. Apple fritters, banana slices and blueberry syrup are going to be 3rd party addons. May be integrated with Beczl MiG-21Bis.
  15. Yes. Its a carbureted engine. Some jets cant fly upside down as well, like the Su-25 because of a fuel automatic shut-off valve that closes the fuel lines when inverted. In a carbureted engine, itll just empty the fuel out of the bowl and cause an engine stall or misfire.
  16. Temperatures may vary.
  17. Crashed in multiplayer multiple times after crash landing my aircraft on side of the mountain. 3 times I ejected, 1 time I stayed in the aircraft. All crashed when I clicked escape and clicked briefing. Server was Escuadron 69 Latest nvidia drivers 296.10 Specs in sig crash logs.zip DXDIAG.RAR
  18. Yeah that sounds right...and having flown online for the first time this afternoon, they shoot down aircraft just fine. 19. I used to fire M2's at old T-60 tanks back when I was in the Corps, and those tanks got shredded up. You cant tell me a .50 cal round wont penetrate or destroy anything. Its still in beta state, I get it, but dont even say the damage is realistic at this moment. Sorry if I sound condescending, but you would know if you ever actually shot the Ma Deuce.
  20. Thats just what I needed! Thank!
  21. Does it really? 15 years and its "just" above DCS. I have a hard time believing that. A dynamic campaign does not make one above DCS titles. A few misc. avionics additions doesnt really make it that far advanced over DCS either. I guess time will tell with regards to the next DCS module released, but having experienced both KA50 and A-10C, I dont see Falcon 4 being worthy of pursuit much longer. You can only rehash 15 yr old software so much. Ive seen it come a long way, but in the end, its still a game that looks like it runs in DOS.
