  1. I use Utorrent. I just found something that appears to have increase my download by over 1/3. In Preferences, in the Bittorrent tab - I unchecked "allow incoming Legacy connections" I almost instantly went from 8 hrs to go to 3+ hours to go
  2. I'm averaging about 160 kb/s , only 10 hrs to go.
  3. What is the point to all these threads nagging and complaining about the P-51? I don't get it. When it comes out, buy it or don't. In the mean time, a new jet is being worked on, and a P-51 is being worked on by a "part" of the team. The other part is building the jet that you will or will not complain about.
  4. My method for balanced take off is - after all systems ready, while still on ground, hit trim. No extra steps of opening the calibration window.
  5. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=8&end_pos=135&lang=en at the very bottom of the page.
  6. I had the same activation box come up. After deleting the original Black Shark2 and installing full (bit torrent) 1.1.1.1 version. I started it up and looked around in the configuration options. I wasn't quite ready to re-config control stick. So I exited out of program. when I finally restarted Black Shark2 I got the "Star Force" (which I have never seen before) box wanting activation. went thru all the stuff including going to the website to validate install - three times - always told that I should be sure that I was trying to activate the right program. I thought "I should try rebooting" which I did. Two more times, I fought with the "Star Force" box. closed out Black Shark 2 once again. On the third restart of BS after reboot, that darn box quit popping up, and now all things are back to Normal. As far as I can see, keep messing with it, and it will clear up. Sure was fun. In both A10 and Black shark, I have never had to mess with "Star Force" before. I have always used the Full install for upgrading when it became available. No patches.
  7. Jeepers, I'd better keep my US wife away from this thread! Don't worry, I shan't tell her.
  8. You were right Bucic, Time in the summary , start and Take off did not agree. I tried straightening them out, but no go, Sooo-- I made new mission, started with the briefing or summary, then start and takeoff times with the waypoint editor. That one worked. Thank you for the hint. I must have lucked out this time and did something in the right order.
  9. I realize this is extreme ignorance: I just wanted to try the editor in Black Shark 2, I did it before in ver. 1. I add helicopter group = Ka 50 , assign player, develop waypoints with ramp start, a few turning points and a waypoint for landing back at the same base. In loadout editor, load a few rockets, and some fuel (about 80%) and save it. When I load it, all I get is a blank map to admire. Please advise on my admitted stupidity.
  10. Thank you Nate. You may have noticed, that after reading tons of "trim" topics, one can end up totally confused concerning "what are the true answers?"
  11. Okay, this has always baffled me -- unticking or ticking "Central Position Trimmer Mode". In my setup, that box is unticked, yet I am using "trim and release controls within 0.05 seconds"-----so I am wrong in what I am doing?
  12. I myself just installed BS2 this morning, I couldn't assign Pro Pedals to first mention of Brakes in the axis list. Went ahead and assigned left and right wheel brakes. It did recognize and assign the left and right peddle brakes. I see no problem, seems acceptable to me. BTW, most times that I tried assigning commands to axis, I usually had to try multiple times to get BS2 to recognize them, but did get assignments accomplished. (one thing I noticed-- If I remember correctly, in BS1, you only had to move axis in one direction, In BS2 you have to move axis in both directions to get it recognized) just saying.
  13. Good operation, glad you fixed that small bugger.
  14. If BobII turns out to be your bag of tea, graphics will not bother you a bit, guaranteed. Besides the only thing really substandard, graphics wise, is whats on the ground.
  15. It is the exact same damage graphic, is it not?
  16. I still haven't run across a more "slick" mission planner as the one in DI Tornado. Good memories!
  17. Excellent Flash presentation Boomer
  18. Thanks for this, really great that you take the time to write this little proggy. Will try it asap.
