After 6 months of playing FC2, and a two month break from it, I have somehow forgotten the button to open the chat box in multiplayer (not radio coms, but the chat box to type to other players) Again sorry, after it is answered hopefully this thread will die

I'd take non-graphical improvements over graphical improvements any day :thumbup: Point is, in the end, frame rates will most likely be better. I just pray that they fix the roll rate, that is my biggest beef with the sim right now haha.

I am really getting excited for the new patch. 2gb of pure awesomeness (I'm hoping). The biggest thing for me right now will be the PAC1 fix, so that there is not as much recoil when firing the Avenger. I'm also looking forward to better FPS. In FC2 I can play on the highest settings without a problem. DCSW is a different story. My second biggest thing will hopefully be FM changes. Right now, the roll rate is simply unacceptable, even when on a clean config and very low fuel. Hopefully this will be changed. And of course, who can forget the fixes for the various bugs that plague the simulator currently. So, what is the fix you are most looking forward to?

Hey guys, I find it a lot more fps friendly to record "Half size" in fraps. Is this what most of you guys do? I want the quality to be at least youtube 720p, which it usually is when I record full. Will it look ok if I record at half?

In many of my flights, my flight sometimes calls out a whole bunch of bullseye coordinates. An example is "Tally target bullseye (blank) for (blank). It would be really helpful if, instead of using my head to figure out where this is, if I could just punch it in to any of the navigation systems, or even the TGP, and have it locate it for me. Is this possible?

If it's not even out yet how could it be on steam?

maybe in uninstalled incorrectly. Is there an uninstaller? I used the windows uninstaller, the control panel thing.

I have recently been thinking about getting a new hard drive anyways, and a clean install of windows 7 would be nice. IDK why I have these problems haha.

I did a system restore recently, and both DCS A-10C and Fallout New Vegas have been having a lot of crash to desktops and completely random times! Help!

Hello, in some missions I will see quite a few X's in certain areas of the battlefield in my hud. What do these indicate? Im guessing friendlies? I looked in the manual and didn't find anything about it.

I know this is a lot to ask, but can anyone give us the low down on whats in the next update?

Strike eagles are so sick...if only they were one seaters maybe dcs would make a module for them. Dcs f15c would be amazing though. I already feel priveledged with an a10

Gys F-15C was the first thing I downloaded :thumbup: I think this model blows Gys F-15C out of the water. Not to say his work wasnt amazing.

Not sure if you've all done this yet, but you should really take some time to look at all the new visual models of aircraft. The new F-15C looks AMAZING! It is almost surreal seeing how much it has improved since FC2's model. Absolutely stunning. The new KC-135 looks amazing as well! From what I hear, they even remodeled the A-10A. Very nice work. When I found out they released the beta I sh*t a chicken, i'm not gonna rush them for an update. That would just be ig'nant.

When your in a high school hallway, and hear some random kid saying a bunch of numbers for whatever reason, then saying those NUMBERS back to him/her waiting for him/her to say "read back correct"

I have noticed that the text near all the buttons on the left and right sides of the cockpit is not very high res at all, in fact it is blurry. Some of it is actually hard to read. Will this be improved in later versions of the simulator?

yes i had the same problem. take wags advice it did wonders for me.

Maybe its just me, but the "Yankee base camp" mission is extremely hard. Once I travel the 15 minutes just to get there, I find it difficult to spot the enemy. By the time im able to get eyes on, im already within their range, putting me at extreme risk. To get some sort of sensor locked onto them, i have to get VERY close, and have yet to achieve this without getting shot down.
