haha it's actually a pretty bad editing job on my part. In the video, you can see how the HUD keeps shaking and moving around, I forgot to turn that off in the settings. If I added some fuzz, got the shaking to stop, it would be a lot better.

the canopy reflections are very much improved. it gives you a way better feel for being in the jet.

talisker single player keeps crashing on me about halfway to rv1. same spot every time i get a CTD.

for me it is CNTL-Z and ALT-Z

two tips. 1. Try to avoid the tutorials as much as possible. They frustrated me more than anything. I essentially learned just by flying as much as possible and posting on here the specific questions that I had. 2. Buy a joystick. You will not get anywhere without one. Make sure you have a throttle as well. It will serve you well for years, and there are bound to be many more flight sims which you will be able to enjoy within those next years.

This has always confused me. I wonder if in real life, the JTAC might give the pilot the option to attack from the most convenient heading. On the real battlefield, things change fast. A pilot might have his attack lined up on the heading given by the JTAC, but he might get fired at by AAA and have to change that heading. You never know.

this happens to me all the time. i think it is a bug.

is the g force method of dropping the gear actually modeled in this sim? what about the shaking method?

I dont think there will be too many nuances at all. Your not gonna be flying the plane, the onboard computer is (fly by wire)

I would be thrilled if we got any of these F-16 F-15C F-15E i would be ok if we got a hornet. i am really hoping for an eagle or viper.

Don't use trackir around your friends though. My friends were saying the headtracker is a radio antenna used to talk to aliens.

I have read that before. Interesting interview for sure. I don't think it is as simple as just "hiring" him, though. He probably already has a full time job, and as he said in the interview, he has no interest in flight simulators personally.

I am having a lot of trouble with this mission. I need to take out a whole bunch of tanks with cbu-97's and I can't get close enough to employ them without getting shot down. Can anyone give me some tips on how to do this?

Hey all, Do any of you know of any good SAM evasion tutorials? I have yet to see one for DCS: Warthog. I am constantly getting shot down by SAM's and need some good techniques.

Off topic, but why does everyone here assume the next DCS module is the F18? Sure, there was that website that was made, but does nobody remember the SCREENSHOTS that ED released of F-16's and F-15's cockpit?

Hey all, I saw the thread saying how in order to enable the EAC, you have to do something with hars and the egi. I dont know what hars is, can anyone explain that to me? Is it a button in the cockpit or something? Also, when exactly am I supposed to flip the EGI switch in this new procedure? Thanks!

Actually, if you have watched any recent movies, than you would know that the F-18 has been very overused. I barely ever see a viper in any recent movies.

I did not like the tutorials at all. They didn't help me one bit but they did a great job of getting me frustrated. This forum is a huge resource. Also you need to adjust your curves. With heavy loadout, I can get off the ground at around 140 knots, and three seconds later initiate a 360 turn and be done with the whole thing in a fairly short time. You need to learn the sweet spots of your stick; the point where you are not stalling the plane but you are max performing it. This of course varies with your load out.

I think I set my curve to 15 on both x and y and a deadzone of 5 for both. I have an x52. Without the curve it was nearly impossible for me. I still have a very large amount of trouble. I have yet to stay connected for more than maybe 15 seconds. Very challenging and takes a lot of practice.
