Not sure if this has been announced yet but why do we now have to sign in for multiplayer? Does it keep track of stats or something? Also, do multiplayer kills get recorded in our pilot log book? Thanks

your a step ahead of me. i didnt know if the coordinates were given in utm or mgrs (w/e it is). Please, someone make a high res video of each and every step. For both UTM and MGRS coordinates. Would be a big help to all of us.

Hey guys, Whenever I do a manual start up, I seem to be unable to turn on the exterior lights, position and anti collision in particular. There is a step in the process that says to push "pinky switch aft" which I never do since I never thought it was needed. Is me not pushing this the reason why I cannot turn on lights. And If this is the reason, do I hold pinky switch aft, or is it just a short press? If needed I will upload a track. Thanks.

ah ok. Lets say a JTAC gives me coordinates. Can I input those directly, or do I have to do a conversion with those?

Snoopy, great visual guide but I don't understand the whole formula thing. Wouldn't .3146 round to .310, not.342? Also for the long coordinates, how did you get 04206140 from the original coordinates? I can only see where the first two numbers came from on that one Thanks

You cannot activate the EAC until the INS is aligned. You will know it is aligned when "INS READY" flashes on the CDU. After it starts flashing, you can then flip on the EAC switch.

my specs are in my sig. I have everything on high except for "scenes", which I keep on medium. This release version runs twice as good as beta 4, in terms of fps. I get 40+ fps almost constant, in heavy combat and explosions with the tgp on, maybe 30. Runs amazing. I just wish they would fix JTAC.

1. If you want to make a new waypoint using the TAD, just hook a point on the TAD, make it SPI, and press TMS right short. Now switch the knob on the right panel to "mark", your new waypoing will be called "A". As long as you have an SPI, you can make it a "mark" point, so to speak. 2. not sure, sorry 3. That is because when you zoom in to far there is no map (im guessing because of the resolution or something). When you zoom out you should see the textured map.

So does anyone know the exact problem here?
