track ir anyone else have trouble getting trackir to recognize device after downloading new trackir beta? I downloaded the new TR beta, uninstalled old TR, installed new TR and now TR doesn't recognise device. TR screen is up but no IR detected. wazup! Hollywoody

Hey guys, I love the feel of the X65F but I have one question before I buy.... I noticed the throttle that I tried at Frys Electronics had a strange detent feelings at both ends..I know it should have one at each end but it felt more like it had 2 detents and some odd not so smooth resistance between the 2 detent at both ends. Is this normal and can I (like i did with my X52) open the bottom up and take out these detents so I have a smooth fluid motion throughout the travel? Thanks Hollywoody

when stated "It is recommended that you install the patch over a clean install of the original Open Beta release version" does this mean I should completely uninstall the original, and then reinstall it, then install the patch? if so im thinking i would lose all graphic settings and key mapping I've already done. downloading now 1 hr left. thanks

I notice that my air speed doesn't seem to be right? I'm runing the fans at 85% and the instructor mentions like a cruising speed of close to 300 or so.. I have trouble just trying to get to 250. Also is it normal to see the ailerons on each wing tip slightly in the up position? they dont seem to be flush with the inner part of the trailing edge of the wing. could this be the an issue with my speed? thanks

it's not a stutter like if your cpu is trying to catch up with the graphics but more on the lines of a not so smooth pan. when I pan using TIR it looks more like a vibration/jitter though out the pan. thanks

it's not tearing I beleive but more of fine stuttering/jittering. would this be treated as the same as tearing? Thanks Nate

Hi, Not sure if this has been addressed but when Im in the cockpit and on the ground or in the air..when I slew my head left or right it seems that all the graphics/view have a slight fine JITTER through out the slew? though It's smooth within BS. this is while using TIR. any quick fixes? btw, my settings are at MED, with high textures, 512 cockpit,msaa@8, 1900x1200. thanks

I did try mapping it in controls/axis and yes it was easier and it worked, but the slider pot was to twitchy for zoom. Hollywoody

I've tried maping the Keypad keys for (zoom in and out) directly to slider in SST and that didn't work, I also tried it within BS contol settings and tuning but that didn't work either. when I do click and hilite a box within bs controls I normally can press any button and it recognises it, but when I try with the slider it doesn't recognize it?
