Sorry guys, but I have been unable so far to include the new textures and the 3 Udaloy variants made by Urbi for this great Mod. I did put his folders in the original Udaloy Mod, but this doesn't seem to work for me. I only get a "Default" variant in the ME, with no hull number (screenshot below). Your help is welcome. Thanks.

Hi All, I discovered recently the A-4E v2.0 Mod, and it's amazing. Superb work. Maybe this question has been addressed previously, sorry for that, but I'm looking for a Thrustmaster WartHog profile for this Mod. Rather than reinventing the wheel, is one profile available somewhere ? Thanks for your help, Toan -

Hi Andrew, I don't know for the Essex, but the Clemenceau was created by Markindel (for FSX I think), and ported to DCS by the Cuesta Bros. It's bundled with a good Super Etendard attack fighter Mod. Unfortunately, there are no good escort destroyers Mods for a carrier group for that period (60's-80's), as far as I know. Fly low... -
Yes, you're both right. No multi-role, with only an A/A variant is quite strange, considering that one of the foremost advantages of the Rafale is its multi-role capability. I don't know about the Mirage 2000 licence, but I guess this could put the developers in serious trouble if they don't have it. Fly low...

Hi, Dassault will certainly watch this new Rafale Mod closely. However, depending on the FM used and the weapons available, and their implemented characteristics, this might not be a very big problem. Further, this Mod depends on the Mirage 2000 HUD (and avionics ?). So, there might be strong limitations on the radar and missile efficiency. So, let's wait and evaluate it. I'll stick personally for a long time to the Cuesta Bros Rafale because of the nice 3D model and the superb liveries made available by Sushy. Thanks guys for all your amazing hard work ! Fly low...

That's really good news, Sushy ! I really look forward to see the Suffren sailing in DCS. That's very exciting because we can see today it is currently moored and statically protecting the Navy seals training school in Saint Mandrier. Many thanks for your work in this ship area, after your many excellent Rafale liveries and loads. Very impressive, indeed. -

Yes, you're right. Nevertheless, Admiral's Constellation frigate is somehow quite new, as well as the HMS Duncan. And I totally agree with you that Admiral's Mods are perfects assets for playing numbers of scenarii wrt to the limitations of DCS and of unclassified characteristics of the ships. Further, the impressive work done by Admiral definitely extends the DCS arena beyond simple naval playgrounds. There was a good model for the Suffren frigate developed for FSX, and quite good 3D models around. But the development a Mod for DCS remains to be done, unfortunately. The last message I saw from the developer Sebastien of the FSX model (call sign "rafalemirage") dates back to 2015, sadly. -

One of the good thing wtih combat simulators is that they support new scenarii that can be imagined, layed down, explored, run unlimited times and refined. IMHO, it's at least as interesting as recreating histotical scenarii, the outcome of which we already know. We can't reinvent the past. But prospective studies help us to imagine the future, and be prepared, as much as possible. My largest scenario involves fierce naval and air battles in the Persian Gulf, including a 2 hours pursuit of an allied amphibious group, protected by 3 carriers and their escorts. They are chased by 2 enemy carrier groups. The outcome, with respect to DCS limitations, is quite interesting... -

Hi, the French and the Greek Navy have ordered several of these already. The first one is currently being built.
