Whatever being the map or the mode (on ground or in fly, cold or hot) the spitfire and mosquito are always inserted inside the body of a SU-25 !!!!!! see photos FW and ME109 and all jets are OK Using DCS ST or MT using quick start or creating ME missions does not change anything Never had this behavior I dont know from when this exists because I very few time flew with spit and mosquito Any idea to fix that would be nice spit-test3.trk

Yes same behavior for me no joy contacting carrier in M2 however I succeeded landing on carrier with no notation by lack of com but having however a 100 for the mission. Also in mission 3 altitudes given in the tables of doc are neither coherent with those in the doc literal text nor with the reality on the terrain nevertheless I also got 100 In mission 5 at first attempt chasing the IL76 to 220° draw me to the border south of the map and the bogey dope provides then the same distance to the target I will try again because perhaps I misunderstand the AEW commands .....

When position in default mode in parameters, terrain shadows in VR are moving a lot. Using flat mode stabilize them

it would be nice that when you choose a background linked to a module, the quick start menu would also be positioned to this module by default with the relative control file loaded. Presently the quick start or mission menu stay on the previously used module and if you go fast you launch the wrong aircraft mission. in addition, it seems the ground crews are always saying that the external power supply is « now on » even if you ask to turn it off that they will do but so with the wrong wording.

Hi, this MT is a pure jewel for people that play only in VR. My frame rate got a rock solid improvement of 15 to 20 FPS so nearly 30% in the same parameters configuration and the same mission quite dense (Persian freedom on A10C2 mission 5) I’m using an I7 10700K on a Gigabyte AORUS Ultra with 48Go Ram 3200 and an AMD GPU 6900XT 16Go VRAM with OC My reverb G2 is used through WMR, Open XR, Open XR toolkit and the 1,8Mo openVR_api.dll liked with open composite I’m using a 100% scale in toolkit with CAS and also 100% in open XR i have a rock solid 45FPS in place of 31 to 35 before Thanks a lot ED, I will refine my tests on other configuration and modules like dcs libération that is VERY slow in VR whatever being the module used and make you aware of results.

Yes after investigating for a while I found also the same answer and everything is now fixed. At least I must say that it draw me to understand much better some part of the navigation like editing adding and deleting points etc…globally speaking I must say that the MAD campaign deserve making several times each mission and is really nice to learn the machine specially when you are not a native English spoken guy like me. And I’m sure I will learn other thing in next missions. The idea to give links for YouTube tutos is excellent and new for campaigns. I was a little bit suspicious about the quality of MAD at the beginning but missions after missions I discover all the good things there is inside and I thank you for that.

I dont understand the coordinates of the mission for bravo WP2 and TG Alpha points at 5100 and 1339 ft high, the coordinate once entered lead to the middle of the sea very far to the south and not in the mountain In ME coordinate MGRS are around 40 R DP 23xx and not at all at 2025 6186 or 2205 6041 nor 2794 6075 looks Lille there is a mistake. Additionally in the tablet PDF there is no the page of the tablet with the coordinate description why?

Today I made missions 2 and 3 and I have quite the same remarks as for mission 1. In mission 2 cold start part is ok but hot start part from the ship is way to long doing nothing from 45km to join the Farp or I did not understood the purpose ?? What usefulness of created WP? Not very clear in the briefing, I will double or triple check however At least , a real dialog with ATC using F10 and delivering timing info or corrections would be useful. Introducing radio frequencies at least in the P list would have sense in place of entering them manually which is a waste of time and very repetitive. One time is good in first mission but then…. for mission 3 in the dust I didn’t understood either. It exists a route displayed on TDS but saber 3.1 order to follow him finding Humvee on the highway and draw you 50km away from the TDS route….Did I take off too early? I effectively seen Humvee but quite close from the base however saber 3.1 flew right ahead In the vocal exchanges it is suggested to not occupy the CPG seat that is supposed eating pop corns. With difficult weather it looks particularly hard piloting, aiming, and firing from the pilot seat. Also it is not realistic using a laser weapon system in this kind of weather nor to take off with 16 Hellfire……..This is a time at least for the Longbow and RFi and RF Hellfire not yet implemented. I also suggest to look how the Red flight Nevada M2000C campaign is realized. Briefing are very much detailed and report to extensive and very detailed maps and informations numerous pages in the description area. The AH-64 campaign has very limited info in the description area, evrithing is grouped on the right side and merged among the story. It misses also a synthetic mission page grouping all radio frequencies, callsigns, waypoints position, timing to start, taxi, take off, reaching WP etc etc like it is well done in the M2000C campaign. briefing is the essential part of the mission and particularly for helos where a sat map view would also be very helpful with major points and hazard indicated as well as suggested speed and altitude i mean having info on a kneeboard is nice but better to know what are accurately the elements and aims before the mission than during the mission or at least a PDF of the kneeboard content because this one is not accessible before entering the A/C. I understand the progressive introduction of that could be considered as training (in mission 2) but so why putting obstacles in the up wind route to a very tiny landing zone in the Farp WP3 making the landing very difficult? At least the mission 2 would had better had to be placed as the mission 1 with taking off from ship and landing on earth then mission 1 as mission 2 with taking off from earth and a beginning of firing some steal but with less hidden targets than the existing ones. Progressive difficulties necessary mastering this complex A/C. Thank you for your efforts anyway

Impressive for a first campaign As many AH-64 missions found on the ED site, they are too much long, particularly when you fly in VR. At least the first one from the Tarawa. Hopefully it has been added subsidiary helos with hot start... thank you I must admit that this is realistic however entering TG manually in VR is tedious specially when you restart a mission 2 or 3 times. It would have been nice providing a kind of auto loaded cartridge of targets. I was obliged to play several time the first mission because my AI Georges was unable killing the city's targets.He finds them lases them shoot but the missile never hit and looks like diseapearing. I was obliged taking manually the CPG to get full result. After that the ART in the mountain was unable to be killed by me. I found them, saw them lased them but the missile never reached them while however very visible and measured on TADS.Perhaps needs firing in loft ???? Making then hidden in the mountain is not very realistic for such heavy vehicles even if a high point is generally good for arty. I will try the other missions soon but 80mn or 100mn in VR is painfull for the eyes. I will prbably need to go back to my trackIR that is a pity for the immersion. Ha also, having worked in UAE with Apache pilots, the voices and discussion contents are not very good....Adding some music could also be nice (on purpose...)

after several checks with only WMR then WMR +open XR +native 585k VR dll with unbearable stutter, I finally found a stable and very effective FPS value (45 for my G2 on every kind of maps) using: WMR+OpenXR with MR off and Open XR toolkit in CAS with turbo mode off and MR off (for now waiting a patch from ED) so it works quite like the 2.8.1 version (open beta) where I was using MR auto in open XR and MR on in open XR toolkit of course you also need to replace the openVR dll in the bin folder from the 585K native to the 1818k found through the open composite download page to make open XR toolkit active I am so very satisfied with this 2.8.2 version which bring many fixes and improvements Having open XR native in place running through SteamVR is a real plus for DCS I've notice that from months using open XR toolkit and open composite that were strapping the steam VR use No stutter, no lag and a high FPS value now with a very reasonable aspect of the terrain including using good MSAA and shadow settings in graphics parameters

Finally I've fixed the problem, once ultraleap is validated in the special zone go to the VR zone and activate use hand controller then select no pointers in the under scrolling menu and voila

After many trials and parameters' trimming I finally got a 35 to 45/60 FPS in quite all modules and terrains with my G2. That is fully acceptable. However it is far from results obtained with MSFS2020 and a google map terrain much more defined. Worst results are with AH-64 and moreover DCS is unplayable with DCS liberation dynamic campaign where 8 to max 17FPS are obtained in the lightest scenario. Management of many object is probably the reason because complex mission with briefing room are playable correctly... I agree that the graphic engine is outdated and I'm very surprised that the CPU is not really used (max 20%) even in single thread compared to the GPU; I'm using a AORUS 490 chipset with a 10700K I7 and a AMD 6900XT slightly overclocked. it is really a pity because now that I have solved my initial motion sickness issue I can fly more than one hour exclusively in VR with Open XR tools to bypass steam VR and the immersion is incomparable even if I have also a track IR device and a hardware cockpit with 3 MFD cougar and their own small LCD in multi monitor. For sure with such a configuration I get more than 100 FPS in all kind of configuration...

Same behaviour for me I confirm the bug I'm using gemini 5.7.2 latest one but I think the problem is in ED software because all was good in 2.7

La pause active a disparu des binding des mods mais elle est presente dans le UI layer par contre on ne peut plus la mapper de façon selective par module Grrrrr et impossible d'utiliser un modifyer avec. Aussi des pb en VR avec mon leapmotion controller, la gestion des pointers a disparu du menu ultraleap

Since last update 2.8, my warthog joystick does not react as before according my F-16 saved controllers configuration files. Downloading many times the correct saved configuration files changes nothing. Was working perfectly before update. Looks good for other modules, it seems that joystick configuration is now a copy of the one of warthog throttle and this only for F-16. I needed to re create the whole joystick configuration. Additionally no more "active pause" in the F-16 module controller list need to go to UI config

Hi it is impossible obtaining a correct AI vehicles behavior while building a waypoint loop using the advanced waypoint command "goto waypoint." Not only the vehicle does not follow the waypoints but it drives across concrete walls or buildings....????? I simplified the road track and changed a truck to a BMP to prevent possible terrain quality effecton the move as it is off road without any differences SYR_85_Nuclear_supress.miz

Problem occurs even after being outside the mission on the debriefing screen or during the mission loading.I know it because there is the windows special USB sound that toggle ON and immediately OFF UH-1_Track IR bug1.trk

I encountered from years frequently during mission notifications of plug and immediate unplug of a TRACK IR that I in fact never owned and that is not present or disabled in my mods controls. This was happening at least 1 or 2 times in a mission but in the last one I cannot join because it is 6Mo.... it was every minutes or so...very disturbing because generally it generate at best a small duration freeze on the game with a black screen and at worst a drastic modification of controls, generally the throttle ones, that draw many time my F-18 outboard or my F-16 outside the taxiway...The problem is existing whatever being the mods and even in the ME or the welcome screen. I am using the last version of the beta and the problem exist with or without installed mods

When rearming with engine on on ground and changing number of chaffs, for exemple from 30 to 60 or 90, the new value is not correctly displayed in the CMWS windows but stuck to 30. No such problem with flares that display the right number asked. i don’t provide a track because it is obvious to reproduce
