I made my own joystick handle.

It has:

3 stage trigger

3 stage mode switch

1 rotary encoder

2 buttons

So... What is it? :)

Thanks guys!

Glad someone recognized it!

It's not a 100% replica, as purists can see. I had to make some design concessions to be able to fit the electronics.

Black is the wrong colour as well, but I liked the alu/black look.

Now I'll get crackin' on the base. I'm using a old VKB gimbal I had.

*unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?

No plans, what so ever! :)

You want them?

Problem is that they are designed for a VKB Thrustmaster adapter. I guess they would work with the regular Thrustmaster Cougar or Warthog adapter as well.

You would also need to find the same switches I use. All are available on ebay.

...

Or you can keep them and start selling sticks. I'm sure you can find a balanced price to gett enough customers for a small to medium profit, sa long as your available time permits that is

I have no such aspirations... I do this because it's fun. I intend to keep it as a hobby.

But I'd gladly help anyone wanting to build their own.

Honorable approach

And it sure is fun to build these kind of stuff yourself when the result get as good as this

Yes ;)

Which tool did you use to design the stick? I think we could also use a generic 3d-printed gimbal.

I use TurboCad for Mac.

I could easily change the handle to fit other connectors. And since it's "just" a radar controller, it doesn't have to have a very strong centering force, or a very sophisticated gimbal.

I see. Well, this grip is probably too heavy, as it is. I wasn't sure about the strength since I wanted it on a regular joystick gimbal. I could lighten it, considerably, if you're going to use it on a small thumbstick. You would still need some centering force though.

Yes, thus I think a very simple printed gimbal with bearings would work...
