2 F-16s constantly change their positions with each other and align themselves with the tanker's boom. they not taking fuel. just change their positions over and over again. so i cannot take fuel. -
Sorry, relative beginner here. Recently my F-16 radar seems to be functional except - the min/max values remain locked to one another. That is, if I change the elevation both will change to, for example 06; change slider, now both are 15, etc. I can't 'widen the beam.' I just did a full. slow repair. And mission doesn't matter. Neither does cold start. I have a Winwing Orion 2 (F16) throttle, and the SimAppPro software responses seem normal for all axis and buttons. It's never been a problem before, and I can't say exactly when it started (a few weeks perhaps, a few months absolute max). Hopefully it's something really simple?

Need some help. I cant seem to bind anything to my MFD's. How can I get the A-10C II to see my MFD's so I can bind to them. I have reset my MFD's, rescanned them but nothing lets the C II see them at all. EDIT: I can bind to my MFD's in other aircraft, just not the C II for some reason. -
I am having serious trouble locking Mav H onto moving armor. It won't lock, or won't hold it. Is there a new'er trick with all these updates.

HMQS Scorpion overlay inexplicably went dim then off despite being turned ON. Midmission What controls brightness of Scorpion. Becouse I don't have it mapped, and AFAIK , I did not change it knowingly.

Good Morning, The Last days i Incounterd a Problemwith Laser Guided Bombs: I set the Codes in the Cockpit both for Bombs and For the TGP but they dont track the Laser anymore and Freefall of the Plane! I still need to test if also 1688 is also a Problem or just the different Codes i used.. like in the Past. Also i need to check if it has something to do with the News Fuse Menu in the Rearm and Refuel Window! Anybody else has experience with that??? Greetings Sky -
I’ve been trying out the ACLS for case III mode 1 landing and the couple of times I tried it the system flew what looked like a perfect approach and then boltered. Is this a known issue? Am I doing something wrong? Yes the hook was down

i am turning on, the ecm . and ew, ALE-47 to s/a1, and to hub. SA on d/l iff is set up, i swear ever its not warning me, and i just blow up of could i be miss it as im a nub ? -

Hi, I've just discovered a new bug. In the past, everything was fine, but since the last patch (or maybe the patch before) there is a new problem with the AGM-88C in TOO Mode. I've tried on 2 different setups, and got the same problem. In TOO Mode, I can switch between the different emitters, but I can't HAND OFF anymore (with LOCK/UNLOCK command). I've check the manual, and didn t see any procedure change, so I guess it's a new bug. Can someone else confirm this bug ? Regards, -
So I've got a new one. Only happens about 1 out of 5 spawns. Once I get the Hornet started they way I always have with no issues the MFDs will not let me click on EW. The EW is there on the MFD but I can't click on it. Same with the Stores page. I can see the missiles on the wings but the STORES page doesn't show at all. It doesn't matter what MFD I use use right or left. I've tried a full shut down and restart and nothing fixes it except spawning back in which is fine but you don't know if the error will happen until the jet is started again. Been playing for three years. Just started last month. Have done a repair on DCS and still happens 1/5 times. Have a squadron and nobody has seen this error before. Hard to take screen shots in VR but I can try to if it helps but is pretty self explanatory

I am using 2.8 and fly the F-18C. Within the last week or so, the SA page on the centre MFD does not work properly. Nor does the Autopilot. None of the waypoints I create in Mission Editor load into the aircraft and most of the soft keys around the screen to not work. Pressing the A\P button on the UFC does nothing. Though TCN and ILS show some symbology. INS alignment shows good. I have checked with the Instant Action missions and the fault appears with these too. I have tried “Repair” and “Clean” from the DCS Updater but with no success. I have no idea whether there is any connection between these two events but my computer did a Windows 10 Update around about the time that this fault occurred with my DCS. If I have to do a complete reinstallation of DCS, will I lose all my control settings for the F-18, or is there a way I can save them - I am a humble driver-airframe so totally computer illiterate, they took me ages to set-up. Thanks for your help.

I am experiencing an anomaly when flying the F/A-18 at night. The cockpit and helmet system goes almost totally out and then fades back in after a few seconds. There seems to be no rhyme or reason, not related to clouds, I can be looking around the cockpit and it just does. We are running off of my sons single server set up. He is also experiencing the same issue. We have three players on during this. This is only on the F/A-18 and not the other planes we are practicing with (A-10IIC, F-14/15/16, AH-64 etc. We also have different video cards. Mine is a RTX3090 running on a triple monitor (alienware) and he is using (I believe a RTX1080TI on a single monitor. We are all using tracker IR. All drivers are current as is Windows 10. -
Having some issue navigating to custom waypoints on multiplayer. I get my Long and Lat from the f10 map I cycle the co-ordinates so that they are in the same format that the f16 needs for example; Sam Site N43 41.479 E39 51.967 I enter them as they are adding a 0 before the 39 for east yet I'm miles off. I'm using Steer point 1 in Manual mode if that makes a difference.

I am sometimes unable to change Maverick target modes. I tried to switch from PRE to VIS but it stayed in PRE. I tried clicking the PRE OSB while the WPN page was SOI. I tried the ENABLE button as well. Tried both with the HUD as SOI also. I even tried to CZ on the TGP prior to attempting to change MAV mode, still nothing. On other occasions it works. So I guess it is a user error. What is the problem? Thanks. -
I don't know if I'm missing something very obvious here, because this worked this afternoon (post-update) but I can't get my datalink symbols to show up on HSD, on autopilot steerpoint it does not steer to the steerpoint (hdg works), and also the HTS/HAD does not pick up radar signals. I have fully aligned the INS before moving. MDS switch to ON only after the TIME display shows GPS SYSTEM. DLINK page set to ON, Coarse switches to Fine. Am I missing something ?

Reading Chucks Guide I was left with the impression that with the Litening Pod, that the RAID/FOV button on the HOTAS changed between wide and narrow FOV on a short press and CCD/FLIR on a long press, but I can't seem to make it do that. I have the screen with the pod display selected, the radar elevation does the zoom like it should, but RAID/FOV does nothing. Anyone experienced the same or know what if anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks

Hi Does anybody have also problems to lock target? I flew on multiplayer server and approached enemy fighter within 20-30 miles. Although i could mark him on HSD (awacs), when I tried to lock him up (tms up) NOTHING happend. I hit tms up sever times, Master arm was on, radar was active.....so what did i miss? Thanks for help.

Hi, I would like to ask if there is the possibility of doing the ACLS also with case I ( instead case III ) (some files to be modified). also you have to do the whole process of 300 miles 6000 feet then 250 miles 5000 feet etc. or I can show up at 140 miles and 1200 feet about 3 miles from the carrier and ask for the platform to have the ACLS ? bye

Hi i’ve noticed that an uncaged Maverick IR (AGM65-F) couldn’t follow a moving target designated by a ATFLIR pod (Auto track mode) while it works perfectly with the GMT/Sea ground radar. The only solution i’ve found is to uncage the maverick just before the launch ( inside maverick range , of course) 1- I don t understand why? is it a bug? 2- my feeling is that Auto mode of the ATFLIR is not very useful ( i didn t try the litening pod). So, except a bug, the best combo seems to be ATFLIR pod slaved to the ground radar , even with the AGM65-E (laser). What are your feelings about it ? thks -
Hello, As stated in the subject line - I made a mission very simple to test FCR and I can not get the targets to display on the radar, however. after the missile hits there is an X where the missile killed the target. I am about 3nm from targets, no line of sight issues. Thanks! -
Hi, I am pretty new to the F-16 Viper, so please bare with me, hehe. I used to fly the F-15C for many many years, but I recently purchased the F-16 Viper. The big advantage is the datalink in my HSD. But here to my issue/question. Sometimes, the HSD does not show all bandits. Sometimes, outta nowhere, a bandit can pop-up on my FCR and prior to the popup it wasnt a detection on the HSD. Is this like server lag or something? Because to my understanding, the HSD shows targets because of the AWACS and other aircraft that has datalink? And I always press the datalink button on the HSD so it says "TMOL" i think. I press it one time, I think its like right OSB 5.

Getting No AK responses to PP and FARM REQs. Only tested with 4 member Net parked hot in lot. Just want to confirm that it should work with PLAYER and AI in SP.
