The F-14A/B Tomcat Combat Fundamentals Guide provides the necessary procedures to efficiently and effectively learn the necessary skills to be successful in effectively using the DCS F-14 Tomcat airframe. The Heatblur F-14 Tomcat Flight Manual, DCS F-14 Tomcat Chucks Guide, and the Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) manual all provide detailed information on aircraft systems and systems operation. This publication and the other documents complement each other. Custom made checklist for the HeatBlur F-14 A/B module. Taken from the NATOPS procedures, and modified for our purposes. Includes: -Start up -Airfield Ops -CV Ops As well as QRG's for : -CASE I and III recovery charts -TID symbology Creating these manuals and guides are a labor of love and passion, but it doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes a lot of time, patience and research and support from many people around me. If you enjoy these manuals and they help you, they’ve accomplished exactly what they are designed to do. as per title, would be nice to see official required docs for each module. I bought the VAICOM pro plugin, I know they have interactive kneeboard, however its not sufficient, it would be nice if ED provide a solution which we can interact with it with something like Wacom or similar H/W

Just formatted the ED information provided in the DCS AH-64 Apache Quick Start Guide. They should get all the kudo's for providing an excellent reference. I just formatted it a little to fit my Army eyeballs. Update: Added DOPPLER and RADAR ALT checks DCS AH-64 Start Checklist.pdf

Hi guys, It is available the first version of the Apache Quick Checklist. Of course, the folder name is still to be confirmed and some of the procedures yet to be matured, but I think it is pretty solid for a pre-release version. Download it at: User Files Download AH-64D Quick Checklist. Here goes a sample: ... Remove because it was old... I hope you like it. Any feedback is welcome. On release day I will be off on a TDY, BUT i will be back a couple days after, so I will update it as necessary. All the best, Sydy

Hi, I would like to know how the checklist system for Interior Inspektion, prestart, engine start and poststart checklist is working in the F14 I am using now the checklist which are coming together with the Zone5 Campaign and I find they are very long and not easy to read for example the Poststart Checklist has 61 Points. A prestart Checklist for example in the A320 or MD80 is much easier so how could a F14 pilot work with Checklist like the poststart checklist or did the Pilot cordinate this IRL with the RIO together and the rio called the checklist item and the pilot did just reply to it or are this checklist not realistic ? MOD: Jester is reading taxi, takeoff, landing CHECKLISTS
winghunter posted a topic in DCS: F-14A & B
UPDATE: checklists voice & items improved I've setup a TTS machine learning voice model for Jester in a docker container. Then I had him read the checklists for taxi, lineup, air refueling, approach and landing. When i say i.e. "TAXI CHECKLIST" in VoiceAttack, then jester is reading the taxi checklist items one by one. To get the VoiceAttack profile working, you need to save the sound files .zip and point VoiceAttack to those sounds. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/298372-jester-reading-takeoff-fence-in-landing-checklists-with-voiceattack/ based on this checklist: (rearranged / sorted by location in VR cockpit ) Landing checklist landing checklist heatblur.mp3 Jester Checklists-Profile.vap taxi checklist.mp3 lineup checklist.mp3 approach checklist.mp3 landing checklist.mp3 air refueling checklist.mp3 parking checklist.mp3 Jester Checklist Sounds.zip -
I think a kneeboard spesific for each module in DCS is essential for the sim. The community A-4E kneeboard should be the standard for how kneeboards are made, and these should be included with each module. Checklist are so essential to the sim and searching in PDF documents and on youtube to get these before you jump into the sim is a bit of a hassle. I recently went from training in the A-4E to the F-5E and now I dont have the flight profile for weapons, start up checklist, radar info and so on, and therefore it feels like something with the module is missing. Please look into how kneeboards can be a mandatory part of a module. That would really be great.
