Pretty much exactly what the title says. The only way to get people in the cargo bay is by having the door gunner/s selected. There should be a crew chief AND flight engineer modeled that will be in the Chinook by default, and only able to be turned off in the special options or the ME. Also being able to select the amount of personnel we want would be nice. The X-Plane 11 CH-47D developed by XTrident has them move around and even shows them pop their heads over to look at cargo. I'd say that you gather all of your SMEs, ask them where they are and what they do in the aircraft during different stages of flight or mission, like takeoff, cruise, landing, troop pickup, cargo, slingloading, etc., and ask them how long they're there for. (Not to sound rude, just couldn't find a better way to word it ) Also, if you do that, I think it'd also be nice for you to provide default keyboard controls to actually walk around, because we have the use the "cockpit move camera" or have a VR headset to effectively move around. I'd believe this would provide a good foundation if a crew chief/flight engineer AI is planned. Thanks!

i hate to be annoying about this, but more options i can use my doorgun joystick, much appreciated! doorgunner VR support with decouple player view from the doorgun option to map the slew axis to joystick, not just the mouse.. multiplayer multicrew slots a must! thanks! please more doorguns! add to chinook! waiting for Mi24 to have just one last thing which is allow joystick mappings!

Hi all - Our helicopter-centric milsim group is looking for a few dedicated operators to join our ranks! We are a newly created group built from seasoned DCS players who have created a new helicopter and combined arms only group. We are looking to initially increase the ranks before full on recruitment after the summer with the specific aim of finding a few key players that are very experienced in the Kiowa/Apache/Gazelle/Huey etc and have squadron and flight lead experience. Because this is a limited recruitment drive I’m looking for some pilots who have a genuine interest in training structure and milsim procedures and who also would like to help run the community. We need a few, mature players to help kick start off the group and to play a key part in its future and are experienced enough to be part of the recruitment and instructor team. Возник вопрос, связанный с настройкой управления рысканьем на вертолёте. Такая проблема была не только у CH-47, но и у Ми-8. Дело в том, что у меня нет педалей для управления, и я использую клавиатуру (да, это правда). Педали не возвращаются в исходное положение. В Ка-50 такой проблемы нет.
