There are two problems with the hack time start/stop and reset logic: Using DED Increment to start hack time progression. DED Increment again stops hack time progression. Pressing DED Increment a third time causes the hack time to continue counting as if it was never stopped. It should start counting from the value it stopped at. Using DED Increment to start hack time progression. DED Increment again to stop hack time progression. At this point it is impossible reset hack time with the progression stopped. It is only possible to reset the hack time with the progression running. It should also work with the hack time progression being stopped. The manual says: However in the jet: 1st press = Start timer 2nd press = freezes the timer DISPLAY, but the timer continues to run in the background 3rd press = unfreezes the timer DISPLAY, and shows the time elapsed since the 1st press F18_TIMER.trk

I've been out of the Hornet for a long time - maybe a year. So this may be a "me" issue. I have a video and a track shared so others can maybe clue me in as to what I might be doing wrong. Since I haven't see this posted anywhere I suspect this isn't a defect, however. Any help is appreciated. I can't get LGBs to track the laser from the ATFLIR unless the code is set to 1688. If I try and change the code (in flight or on ground) using the weapon/flir MFD pages, the numbers are updated on the jet, but it just doesn't work. So far I've tried using 1687 and 1588 as codes and the LGB never "sees" the laser. Based on the recorded track, it doesn't appear the laser fires at all (even though its armed). Anyone gotta a clue for me? Oh ... and this is completely vanilla (no mods) running latest unified version of DCS. Thanks. LGB Test.trk

Hi all, I observed that the CD REL button increases input on the directional pedals with each click, regardless of the trim option used on the cyclic. It functions similarly to using FFB or instant trim option for the pedals, which isn't available yet. I also experienced that the effect of the DAFCS Trim Switch up and down seems to be inverted?! Anyone else having problems?

The clock in the cockpit is 3 hours early. For example, when it is 7 PM, the clock shows 4 PM.

When in this training mission it seems like the green gates end somewhere around half way of the runway point on the downwind leg. After which there is no more guidance for the the rest of the approach or landing. Does anyone have any ideas if this was fixed. Is there another way I can practice my overhead break approach and landing?

The mission editor and new DTC function incorrectly label the COMM 2 as the ARC-222. The F-16 does not use the ARC-222, it uses the ARC-186 or ARC-210 as the comm 2. I believe ED does not intend to implement the ARC-210 so it would nice to get it corrected in the menu to ARC-186. Thanks

Hi, I just find something strange today. When approaching M0.84 the roll rate is slowing down a lot and continue to accelerate will increase the problem. Is there any limitation link to the roll rate by the FCS?

It seems that it is currently not possible to change the laser code of a GBU-54 in the A-10C II. The corresponding box is missing in the rearm/refuel window and in contrast to the AV8, for example, you cannot change any codes in the kneeboard of the A-10C (unless I have overlooked it). This is really annoying!!! I have noticed the F-16C's external tanks, both wing and centerline, to not refuel while selecting the new fuel state in the ground service panel. The only way around this is deload the tanks off the aircraft, and reload them back onto the aircraft having to use the ground panel 2 times. Is this a bug or intentional? I personally don't feel the fuel slider should only be connected to the fuel state in the external tanks. Thanks

I think this is a flight model related bug and it happens many times. 1. gain enough speed. 2. do a high AOA (i think maybe 70 to 80) climb until the speed reduces to below 300. 3. push the stick to make a nose down. Then it may happen. Suddenly it sounds like an engine failure, the engines look fine but feel no power at all. And the jet becomes like a leaf, can't be controlled. This bug can be triggered on the FC3 F-15C. I also tried DCS F-16C but it flies totally normal. f18c_bug.trk

correct as is Mast bump more frequently after update

I'm experiencing mast bumping way more frequently after the March performance update. Even sometimes in level flight the rotor separates from the mast. I'll notice it's prominent going from a left bank to a right bank at about 40 kts with the same pitch input. Before the update, I would have to maneuver aggressively to induce a mast bump, but with this update, it seems to happen under normal flight characteristics. Any input would be appreciated, Tomcat 1-1 -

To replicate use a map with a big difference between the true and magnetic heading, this one was in Kola. Switch HSI to TRUE HDG via HSI DATA ACFT. Then when you select an HDG with the HDG bug on HSI the AFCS does not follow TRUE HDG instead it keeps following MAG HDG. I don't have specific knowledge on the F/A-18 but many other aircraft AFCS will always follow the HDG bug.

The issue is that when you open any of the windows with the new Cargo system, either LOAD or UNLOAD, if you close the Rearm&Refuel menu after pressing CANCEL or OK. Those windows stay open. You have to mouse click them to close. I think those should close with the menu No need for track as it is easy to reproduce. For example the Instant ACtion mission on Caucasus called "Cargo Trip". null

I have a question about Petrovich. What is the situation with his vision of targets at night? When I take off at dusk, Petrovich sees the targets even after some time, when it is already completely dark, and if I get into the Mi-24 when it is already dark, Petrovich goes completely blind. How is it, does his script say that from such an hour to such an hour Petrovich does not see targets? Is it some kind of bug that Petrovich completely loses his eyesight after dark?

The more the head is rotated in the Apache, the more the icons marking stuff in the ground get misaligned (waypoint, radar targets, shots markers). This short 15s video demonstrates the issue very clearly. It happens on all missions and settings, under VR (can't test it in 2D), and as far as I can tell to everyone (seen on youtube videos, friends, etc). Couldn't find a reported issue about it, sorry if it's been reported before. I can also provide a sample track, but it's super easy to reproduce: you just have to fly with a waypoint and tilt the head, and the alignment clearly breaks.

When adding a new frequency with the use of the Switch Freq button, the standby freq resets to 121.5Mhz regardless of what was set in there.
