Hi, After a lot of development and improvements, the GV5Js Datacard Generator has finally come to an end. I decided to start from scratch again, and implement a much more robust method of parsing the .miz files, so the problems with some flights not being detected should be a thing of the past. I have taken the opportunity to turn the direction of the development, and the new tool is more oriented to the management of packages, so it puts you under the skin of the Mission Commander. Consider this first release as a beta version, as I still have a backlog to complete, until all tools have been integrated, however, you could now expect: More professional datacards, based in RL counterparts (with some adaptions to DCS, of course) A more modern interface Way faster response when showing/hiding map overlays Improved tools to manage the map (flight colors, drawing tools...) Capability of modifying some flight aspects from the program (move waypoints, change flight names) Package coordination tools (AAR times, Push time/altitude, Hold...) Ability to save your modifications and continue later (WiP: retrieving all map overlays for the time of the briefing) Setting and assignment of CAP/Hold patterns to flights from the map view Still some things are upcoming in next releases: Saving overlays, as mentioned Complete list of supported theaters Complete list of supported planes/helicopters Improve lowdown extraction for "regular" (non Liberation/Retribution) missions Producing more material for the briefing (roll call, general overview, icons on the map) A complete manual, explaining usage. For instance, I can name a couple things here: If you want the AAR to be coordinated and appear in the mission datacard, make sure a waypoint is named either "Refueling" or "AAR" If you want Push times, make a "PUSH" waypoint in your miz General improvements and bug fixing Improved icons Download link: Mission Commander Toolkit

Hi! I've been working on a tool to manage DCS and SRS servers. It lets you start/restart/stop, edit configs, upload missions, download tracks, and even configure automatic health checks that keep your server up and restart it when it crashes, etc. All with a very strong focus on making things simple: installation is just running an exe, configuration is just there in the ui, etc. It started as a simple script for myself, then evolved into a nicer web ui, and then I decided to share it with the world and so put some effort into making it super easy to use. It has some overlap with the DCS Server Bot, obviously. But I really don't like the idea of administering servers via Discord chat, and wanted something far more simple than what the bot provides (too many extra things to install, configure, maintain, etc). Downloads, documentation and more: https://github.com/fisadev/dcs_server_manager/

I know maybe ED is going to further refine and tweak multi-select. But, this new feature is NICCCCEEEEE. It saves so much time in ME, especially since I use tons of statics to add depth. I love it! Thank you, ED!

As of present, when I create a route in the DCS Route Tool in the F10 map with 25 waypoints for example, proceeding to load into my F/A-18C and checking my HSI page, only SEQ1 will be populated with the first 14 waypoints & I will have to manually insert the remaining waypoints into a different sequence or move waypoints from SEQ1 to another sequence manually if not wanted in SEQ1. Not an issue to any extent, it would just be a huge nicety to have a sequence option in the Route Tool in where I can insert waypoints to a specific sequence so that when I load into my aircraft, the sequences are already populated to my aircraft.

Fairly often there is a row over the damage model, and most often it ends with confusion because as users, the best we can get are the misleading graphics for damage from the outside, and a very simplified (doesn't catch nearly everything) debrief window that's only available to singleplayer. And aside from that, a small chat window that just says "Aircraft damage/destroyed" on the right side of the screen. It would benefit a lot of discussion and potential bug-finding if a tool such as featured here in Nineline's video we're available and open to OpenBeta users.

Hello all, not sure where this belongs so posting in here as its the best place I can tell at the moment. I am running a VPC LED Tool on my machine, which grabs certain exported arguments and allows me to set triggers and LED states based on certain events in cockpit. For example, A/S turns my stick LED green/red depending on safe/armed, I have also programmed my Master Caution reset button to flash when its triggered and then return to green when reset. The way VPC LED works is that there it has the standard telemetry available for every DCS module, that it looks for. Then a second module dependant LUA file for each aircraft specific data. In this case the AH64 has Master Caution as I mentioned above, but not Master Warning. There are a few others missing which I would like as well like Tail Wheel lock. How/Where do I find the list of all exported cockpit arguments for the AH64 please, so I can add them to the LUA to programme the LEDS from Thanks

hey pilots, i need your help. i finally finished my apache skin but in comparison to the others helicopter moduls, the ah64 took me much longer (mi24 for example were done way easier and faster) i did everything in photoshop with the dds-plugin. my question is, how ED do the liveries, what programs they use for it? i tried adobe substance painter (time trail version) but could not load the 3d model. does anybody know what to do? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3323103/

Hello guys, I am “secretcode”, “Esparza”, “FalconMasters” (I have many aliases). And I am here to introduce you to: simtools.app simtools.app is a personal project I’ve been working for some time and that I made to solve the need I had for a way to make custom checklists for all the modules I fly in DCS. With simtools.app you can: Create checklists for all the modules in DCS Store checklists on the cloud Share checklists with others Open checklists in your phone Follow someone else’s checklists Download the checklists with customized sizes for DCS World Link: https://www.simtools.app/ To use the app you must register and verify your account, once you do that you will get access to all the features of the site. For the moment simtools is only composed of the checklist maker, but I have planed some more tools and features to the site. I hope this app is useful to you, If you want to learn more about the project, request a feature, report a bug or whatever you can join the discord: https://discord.gg/grXueh2Ddc See you!

It would be most effective if further peripheral controllers were permitted to be bound to the F10 Coordinate Picker tool. Currently, it is only permitted to be bound to keyboard. Further controllers like throttle and sticks would be great. Mainly however, mouse controls would be most effective and a natural place to bind such a tool. Myself, I have an extra 5 buttons on my mouse I could bind to this otherwise very excellent tool
