Players too spread out over servers

I don't get it .

 

There's like a bunch of servers up, and they all have 4 to 6 players on them.

Some might be a2g servers and don't like being shot down by fighter jocks? :pilotfly: choice too i guess, some people like servers that allow externals, mission design etc

Also, a lot of people set up servers for specific purposes. They are groups of friends with specific missions in mind (not just "A2G", but more like literally "that specific mission is todays game night with friends").

 

I almost never fly on "public" servers, since most of the time when I fly, I am flying with a specific set of friends, usually between 2 and 8 people. We're just not all that interested in bigger, open, servers.

As Etheraln said about specific missions, I may add I sometimes start server up for weird planes, you can fly Su-22 with Su-25T cockpit, use ATAKA missiles, Vikhrs, or just to kill 200 sams in one area by Su-24Fencer :P

 

I can't get Kuznetsov flying yet, but I am trying.

IMO it "just" lacks of a DCS fighter (and IVC) for public A2A+A2G servers. Maybe that's a reason...

Had a blast the other day controlling CA and co-ordinating with buddies in fighters and strikers on TS, engaging against other players in similar roles in a 20+ server. Smoking targets and calling out bandits was pretty enjoyable and a new experience, all thanks to ED.
