WildBillKelsoe Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I'm currently flying the carrier campaign. So far I'm loaded with 73's and 27's but is it realistic to fold wings on ground with missiles attached? Can the folding hydraulics sustain that much weight? On a less serious note, will Cy-33 be having an AFM haul on par with F-15? Cheerios. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

WildBillKelsoe Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 keep in mind that these are static photos. I'd have bought a video of an actual 'fold'. My guess is that all these airshow photos are probably post-fold hookups. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. drack Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I wonder if they will put the SU27 AFM on the SU33? I'm wondering when we will get a new carrier for the SU33. Its getting a bit old now. When you look at the standard of carrier in X Plane/P3d(freeware) we need a new one. Tomcatz Carrier with the animations is real nice but we shouldnt be relying on Freeware. I think there is a new one coming soon for USA carrier. Love the SU33 and would love to see an AFM.
Eldur Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Where is the Su-27 AFM anyway? Read about it's possibility to do Cobra without special scripts half a year ago, but it's still SFM 2 or 3 patches since. Probably doing the 33 out of the 27 should save lots of work then.

Hopefully it would save some work, though I think it would still need quite some attention (esp. due to canards). 2nd French Fighter Squadron
Silver_Dragon Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 For now, no official confirmation of ED has making the Su-33 AFM, expected some new in the future, if FC-3 move has planned I think all pilot-able planes will get AFM with the time (Su-27 has coming "near", only left the Su-33 and Mig-29A/G/S) For Work/Gaming: 28" Philips 246E Monitor - Ryzen 7 1800X - 32 GB DDR4 - nVidia RTX1080 - SSD 860 EVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 2 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Warthog / TPR / MDF
