JB3DG Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) For all you cat lovers out there and those dog lovers who believe kitties are 2nd rate....this turns the tables. Lets not start a cat vs dog debate here though please. Still...reminds me of my own lion hearted Leo (sadly was put down at the age of 13 last year April due to cancer). He lost the use of his left front paw which got stabbed in a fight with someone who tried to break into our house when he was only a year old. 3 weeks later he did it again in-spite of his injury. Both breakins were unsuccessful thanks to him and he was my closest friend for a long time. C-Opm9b2WDk Edited May 15, 2014 by JB3DG
Laurius Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Oh yeah !! Saw this video today and was quite impressed by the reactivity and behavior of this cat ! It seemed that this wandering dog smelled the fresh flesh, if I can say it that way, and ran on to that little kid. The attack was quite violent IMHO. Fortunatly the cat was here and I was amazed to see that latter rush on this aggressive dog, making it run away and chasing it. The kid's mother seemed to be nearby watering the garden and reacted to what happened but a fraction of a second later. Did the cat really wanted to protect this little buddy ?? What would have happened if there was no kid ? Did the cat wanted to only defend its own territory ? Anyway, this video is amazing. Although the bit left quite impressive injuries, I really feel glad it was not worse. What if the cat were not here ??? Better not to think about it... I love cats and I own a little female, named Hoggy, that is a bit over 1 year old now, and which behaves like a dog. I can play "fetch !" with her everyday ! Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, Intel Core i7-2600K (3.4 GHz), Corsair Vengeance 2x4096 Mo DDR3 1866 MHz, SSD 120 Go Vertex 2, EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 4Go (04G-P4-2978-KR), TM HOTAS Warthog #03797 (MB replaced), Saitek Combat Pro Rudder, TrackIR 5, TM Cougar MFDs with Lilliput 8" UM 80
leafer Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 That was awesome. Attack then hide under truck. lol Feline rage and a lot of them have that. My old cat, mew mew, stood hissing at the door as my ex was pounding the hell out of it on the other side. Miss her, the cat :P, a ton. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
Vampyr Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 A cat with a lioness' heart, you mean. That cat is female. :) I've always found that female cats were more aggressive and protective than their male counterparts.

Yurgon Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I think if someone ever broke into our house my cat would walk over to the food bowl and try to get them to feed him :) Haha, so true for most cats. :) Then again, I know dogs who would do exactly the same. :D
