Cobra360 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I'd say they cost a bomb. Customised stick throw, centre and force to customer requirements. Hall sensors is a good feature, no pots in sight. :D

Alfa Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I'd say they cost a bomb. ...or the jet fighter that drops them :) Cheers, - JJ. JJ
Colt40Five Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 yeah anytime you have to contact them for pricing, you know it won't be good...lol [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Alfa Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 yeah anytime you have to contact them for pricing, you know it won't be good...lol Hehe something like that yes. IIRC someone on the Ubi forum did contact them at one point and got a price.....:icon_eek: . Cheers, - JJ. JJ
Sleek Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 yea i guessed they'd be expensive but if anyone does contact them..please share ur finding's ;) Be Good..Be Strong..:drink: ;)
Pilotasso Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 LOL I guess those are out of the question...I cant even aford new underwear right now. :D .
Cobra360 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I think it varies according to your own custom specification. Imagine a Su-27 or MiG-29 Hotas, they are similar, both ugly as sin but nice to have. I see the F-35 Hotas is on the wish list and the F-16 one is in production.
Sleek Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 I'm only guessing here but..I suppose theres no programming software so ur limited to just programing with in ur Sim,so limited to just the amount of hats/switches u have..not like the saitek SST software where u can program shiat loads of stuff Be Good..Be Strong..:drink: ;)
Pilotasso Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 ^^^^I figured that out by now as well, they are no programmers. .
SUBS17 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Hirevsims won't sell to the public because of an incident on Frugals. Their products are quite expensive but would have been good for home cockpit builders. Unfortunately they aren't interested in selling to home users anymore. The good news is CH is looking into making an F/A-18 Hotas:icon_supe . CH are the ones to talk too http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2741 [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Colt40Five Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 What I want to see are new programmable MFD's like the old Masterpilots...Or for Saitek to re-release the pcdash.... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Dusty Rhodes Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 It wasn't just because of the Frugals fiasco. That was but a small small reason. They are busy with other business contracts for their products and don't have the time to sell to the open market. Good people. I hope someday they can be convinced to sell to the open market, but it won't be anytime soon.
