Or do I have to spend all Day re-downloading those massive files ? Thanx in Advance of Help BVR Igor4U !
SkateZilla Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 DCS Should Update to 27915 when you run DCS_Updater, DCS Should check for an Update every 24 hours when you launch DCS World. Igor4U Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 OK- Thanks ! So DCS Updater just downloads and installs the files that have been updated (changed or added); it doesn't go get the entire 7+ GB ?

The Amount it has to download depends on how many modules you have installed and how old your current version is. it'll prolly be a few hundred MBs for you. shagrat Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 ...and you won't need to "install" any modules! Simply use the module manager in DCS World to activate / buy modules. When launching a mission the DRM kicks in, then enter the key you bought and all updates will be taken care off, by the auto updater. SOmetimes the best way to activate is through the 'protect.exe located in the module bin folder Example DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\bin The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
