1.2.9 Weapons errors

- Fuel Tank 490L missing texture

- R-13M missile see transparent on backward exhaust and no control Fins

 

- R-3R Bad main body textures and no control Fins

- R-3S no control Fins

- R-13M-1 missile see tranparent on backward exhaust and no control Fins.

I guess it was to be expected, but nukes explosions are far from ok, there is crater glitches. And explosion of the RN-24 doesnt seems to damage anything. The RN-28 damages buildings, but not infantry (cannot confirm for other units).

The textures on the Russian rockets pods appear to be broken in the 129 update. They looked like rocket pods in 128 version.

Any idea when we can expect a hot fix this?

I doubt we can expect much bug solving in 1.2.9.

These are not ongoing bugs. These were released in a broken state in the last patch, 129. No issues in 128.

Identified and caused by a MiG-21 weapon texture that mistakenly overwrites a core DCS texture.

 

For a local temporary fix if you don't wish to wait for the next patch:

 

1. Navigate to DCS Directory\CoreMods\aircraft\MiG-21\Textures

2. Open Mig21_weapons.zip.

3. Delete B-8-PAINT.bmp.dds

 

Apologies for the inconvenience and bug.

Funnily enough, you don't need to apply the fix in that case, as the texture in question is actually the one for those detailed pods. (Which is how we managed to mistakenly replace it in the first place). :)

...anybody noticed the broken LANTIRN Pods on the Falcon? No screenshot at the moment but they seem to "fly" in front of the aircraft without beeing attached to it...
