TurboHog Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 And does anyone have an F-86 or a CAC Sabre pilot's manual? I can only find an F-86E manual that costs money... 'Frett'

Skulleader Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Please dont post manuals from other sims here. Hello guys, SithSpawn, I respect your job and your function in this forum but sometime it's very interesting to share few flight manuals. The World Wide Web is very great and it's not easy to found these manuals and I found that these link are very necessary. With the Mi-8's forum I've could found the real flight manual and today I use this manual, without this link never I will understand my Mi-8... It's necessary because since the official release never we have the flight manual of the Mi-8 and get this real manual with one link from other web site really help us... Of course I respect your rules but one forum is the sharing place, no ? Understand how work one aircraft or helicopter it's not easy and found a link with this manual it's very great, no ? Best regards and thanks again, Skull. Blech Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Hi, @SiThSpAwN I guess you haven`t looked at the link mentioned above for the F-86 It is not a manual from another sim http://aviationshoppe.com/aircraft-manuals-documents-t-12.html?page=2 Orginal text : "Aircraft Manuals / Original Rare Documents Authentic WWII era documents, originally classified "Restricted", a must read in order to fully understand and appreciate the aircraft. We freely provide our rare documents for you to view, research and enjoy. Choose a publication... our online document viewer will gather the pages and open the document for you, this may take a few (4-10) seconds. Note: A high-speed internet connection is recommended to view manuals or video."
ED Team NineLine Posted July 30, 2014 ED Team Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Blech & Skull, I deleted the offending links and left the ones that were ok... of course real documents are fine as long as they are posted by legal means. The links I deleted were for Microsoft FS addons. Edited July 30, 2014 by NineLine Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
aracas11 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I have just received my "NORTH AMERICAN F-86 SABRE PILOT`S FLIGHT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS" through the post , it is primarily for the F-86 E but contains plenty of info regarding our model including the A4 gun sight and performance data for non slated as well as slated wing variants ect.
Bunyap Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) This is a great site for manuals in general. http://www.flight-manuals-on-cd.com/F86.html The one I have been using is the F-86F manual from F-86 Sabre CD #2 that covers the specific model we have here. He usually gets back to you within a couple hours with a link if you choose the download option. Edited July 30, 2014 by Bunyap
Skulleader Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Hello SithSpawn, Ok I've well understand your explanation, no problem. Bye Skull. reilar Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Here is another site: http://www.sicuropublishing.com/ I just picked up the manuals for F-86F: http://www.sicuropublishing.com/servlet/the-3482/North-American-Aviation-F-dsh-86/Detail ...and it differs from the F-86E manual so I Think it's worthwhile to get it if you want to study the F model (and it covers the Block 35 as well).
NeilWillis Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 So why is there no manual for this module? You'd have preferred to wait another few months for the module to be released with the manual then? Manuals do not appear to be a high priority for Belsimtek. I'm sure it'll be released once we have the Huey, and Mi8 manuals. In the meantime, follow the links, and do what everyone else is doing. Wait impatiently!
outlawal2 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 So why is there no manual for this module? You are aware that you purchased the F-86 while it is still a BETA module, correct? BETA means that not everything is complete and if it is not complete then it makes zero sense to try to publish a manual as things are constantly changing... This guarantess that the manual will probably be the very last (or at least one of the last) items completed.. "Pride is a poor substitute for intelligence." RAMBO
