Realistique is not because the weapon system can't know more than 2 different weapons. So such things like 2xR60 +2xR73 +2xR27R are just for demo and maybe for using without using the weapons system

I've never heard about this kind of limitation.. I know that the 29A payload can be misbalanced by 500kg, but i haven't seen any restrictions on the number of diffrent kind of weapons. The standard payloads for the A version appear to have only 2 kinds of weapons, but then again, the only A2A missiles listed on my version of the mig flight manual are R-27R and R-60..

I know that "two of each" (2xR27+2xR73+2xR60) is the standard payload for serbian airforce.. or was back when 29's weren't grounded :( And those 29's were some of the earliest production models. Wonder what it will be when the 10 new 29M's come :)

You guys getting new birds?

Would like to know more details of the Yugo airforce (re)build up.

They also have short-ranged "SAMs" with 6 rocket engines from the S-5 as first stage, and an R-73/R-60 as a second stage, the vehicles look funny, like something from the GLA from C&C: Generals.

Pilotasso: I really doubt that this will be changed on the server. First it would have to be agreed by the community that it is realistic, then agreed by the Squadron that it is in the communities best interest that the change is made and even after this it is down to Zorlac (our server owner) to decide wether or not he should make the change.

One example would be the 6xR-77's for the MiG-29S has been agreed by the community and even by the 504th as a squad (its even in my squad skin pack mod) but we have yet to impliment it to the server.

As Kenan has said, it is his and Breakshots view that the Su-33 should carry 4xR-27T/ET's. It is mine and Gazehounds view that it should not. So far all the evidence points to 2 T/ET's only. So until evidence from a credible source is shown that it can carry 4 then I am sure that the server will continue to only allow 2.

Our Squadron takes pride that it is able to identify, name and then ban anyone that uses "illegal" loadouts and I'm sure that we will continue to do this.

Nice but not exact stats. Also =031= mark with ReD used R-27 ET on MIG-29A last week. Also i saw, that when i flyed and made 12 kills, than 7 kills, I cant understeand why iy added only 15 kills to stats. And many others errors in that stats. But for orientation it is good way. I also still dont see team kill of 504shaman. Breakshot know about what I am speaking.

I stoped flying on 504 yesterday. ;) Retired there

This is not true IIRC. This might have been the standard payload for showing off on the ground but as I have heard it could never be used in combat because the weapons computer couldn't handle it. It had to be 4*R-60 or 4*R-73. I think someone from the =4c= told it on this same forum.

Maybe.. don't know, I had this info.

Notting is for sure yet.. currently russian experts are here examening the state of birds that have been grounded for a few years. Even the fleet of 21's has only a few operable aircraft so, we don't have much time to get some new planes or we will have to hire some forign airforce to protect our skys (a sad end to one of the oldest airforces in Europe :()

These were developed (though off one day), produced (smudged up the next day :D.. the vehicels are from Praga AAA), and used in war time in '99. When Iraqis see a Predator they surrender to it.. when Serbs see it WE take pictures of IT('s peaces) on the ground :) Anyway, I doubt there are any left, except maybe in a museum.. ;)

I base it on an article in "Aviatsiya i vremya" (Aviation and time) nr. 3 of 2004, which featured a special on the su-33 and su-33KUB. The information was in the su-27k section of the article, so they weren't talking about the KUB.

The article states that during the flight testing, "with a full fuel load and 4 missiles (mass is almost 30000kg), the fighter took off effortless from the 1st starting position (lomac's default starting position) with a speed of the cruiser of 7 knots."

Further on this is said: "With a speed of 15 knots, take-off of the plane with a full fuel load and full missile complement (mass: 32200kg) is allowed from the 3rd starting position (run-up distance: 195m; sorry on that, thought it was 180m)" "The flight testing was done with waves of 4-5 units"

Doing the math gives this: empty mass (19600kg)+ Full missile complement (3200kg; 4xR-73+8xR-27E)= 22800kg The take-off mass for the 3rd position is 32200kg, substract the 22800kg from that and you get 9400kg of fuel. Hereby confirming that the emergency tankt is not filled during peacetime, so Alfa is right again :p

Nothing in that quote backs up your earlier statement.
