Lordbaldur
Are there any plans on implementing more Mig-21 variants such as the upgraded Indian Air Force and older Vietnam models? I can imagine there is a lot you can do with the model you guys made. My Channel
Stratos
A PFM will be great for Vietnam. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
Erizo
I think the LancerC variant would be awesome... so it can fire longer range missiles with better radar :)
cichlidfan
The problem is getting the data, assuming they would even want to do it. They had data, sources and an SME for this version. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1
MiG21bisFishbedL
F-13 for '60's swagger. Also for amusing CG shifts related to fuel load. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

Shouldn't be too hard for some of the upgrade kits. It isn't like the Russians fly them anymore. So all their upgrades are export only and thus should be effectively unclassified. Zakatak
Why not hit both ends of the spectrum? F-13 for fans of the classics and the 21-97 so pilots can hang with F-16C's.

Erizo
I kinda wish they went with the lancer c to begin with. I like the bis but it is too damn hard to get radar lock on gen 4 aircraft... I have to use IR most of the time to get a kill and get in close
otester
I would definitely be willing to pay for one of the later variants (looks like it just needs a new cockpit), at least then I wouldn't be relegated in multiplayer to the side of the map to play with AI. Is it possible to mod this and use a MiG-29S cockpit/loadout? Edited November 3, 2014 by otester
King_Hrothgar
It isn't the cockpit that's the problem, it's the radar. The max detection range is only around 15-20km against a fighter compared to 80km+ for an F-15 or Su-27. The latter can even shoot you at that range. And the lock on range for the MiG-21 is so short it begs the question of why even bother with unreliable R-3R's when you could use a much better R-60 instead? To top it all off, there is currently a bug that makes unlocking the MiG-21's chaff/flare/ECM pods also unlock nukes. Needless to say, no server allows nukes and thus you don't even get any countermeasures. It does ok in the ground attack role in MP (I fly it a lot in 104th) but in air to air it is completely hopeless without AWACS support. Even with, it's an uphill battle against anything but AI. Flycat
You can image a chinese made J-7E/G other type of MiG-21. It can launch Sidewinder or other NATO missile/bomb,have HOTAS,3 digital screen, better rader, more powerful engine and agli. And the shape is more beautiful and elegant. However it's the 21st final ultimate edition MiG-21. Who can do better then her? LOL Edited November 3, 2014 by Flycat
Paradox
I think the Bison edges it for me but J-7E/G is astonishingly cool.
