DTWD Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I recently got back into DCS and bought the Sabre in the recent sale. I took her up on the weekend along with my new control layout and she was a treat to "fly". It felt so smooth and responsive...and the a/c just felt right, not massively complicated and good fun as well. I think I prefer this era of aircraft over the more modern jets. 1 Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pikey Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 It is indeed quite relaxing to play with. I'm also hoping one day i'll hit something with the guns, but until then happy to float around in her. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
schurem Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 The steam halloween sale coincided with a buddy of mine lending me his Oculus DK2. I am very happy and impressed with the sabrejet. Its a fun jet to fly and its cockpit is exquisite. I havent managed to down a mig just yet but I did put some bullets in one :pilotfly: Is there a manual or something to find out what does what in that sweet little jet? Or am I being dense and have I overlooked it? :book: I5 9600KF, 32GB, 3080ti, G2, PointCTRL
golani79 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 For now there is a quickstart guide Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F-86\Doc As far as I know the full manual has yet to be released. >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<
Nevyn Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 +1 OP, the Sabre is awesome, love it, I also wish I could find something to shoot at too, the mission briefing says they are there but I think they are lying, lol.
