golani79 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Wouldn´t you need more geometry to proper animate the tracks? Elsewise I think that you could animate the textures - but not sure how it´s done in max or if this could be done in engine. >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<
Priller Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 You would need to build the tank track in equal sections. Right now you have 1 very long piece in the middle, if that was to go around the sprockets it wouldn't be right. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Lilkiki Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 I think you are right, Obviously, it is the tread texture which is animate, not the mesh. Here is the default T-55 tank of the sim, we can see that there is only a siingle object/mesh for tracks. ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
