I have the entire footage, large res, and it is very long.

You can't imagine what was the aftermath.

But it is so hardcore that I've made it viewable for my squad members only. I'd never release it on public forums.

If you want, look for it on the net. But I advise you, its really hard to clear these images out of your head.

I've seen more people are reminding recently of this horrific crash on these forums? What for actually?

No, thnx man...i could hardly handle the small clip...I get afriad just thinking, that one second you see the plane...and *swisch*, you don't have any chance to run away when it comes in that high-speed...

Just imagen the other who saw the planes flyby their head, like 20 cm...:(

Hey shamandgg, this sort of thing is often used for learning. If you take even a private pilot license, most countries aviation governing body sends out documentaries on 'what went wrong' and air disaster situations to help pilots avoid making similar mistakes. It feels kind of twisted at first, but then sometimes when your flying, you realise the value (in real world at least).

For some reason some retarded sites have suddenly found this movie after 4 years. Now all the kids are either thinking it's cool, or complain that it's too graphic. Well, there is a thing outside your room (in it as well) called the world, it has no mercy with no-one and people die, and please don't think this video is "normal", but those things happen, as do beheadings and armed hand grenades being shoved in mouths of prisoners. It's all out there, and I don't understand why people are so reluctant to accept it. (through a video that is)

Where can I get the entire footage that Shamandgg speaks of?

I have had all the pics and vids from the various angles and aftermath vids for awhile, but never posted them becasue of the reactions that force described. Check some of your more ogrish sites to find those links or pm me if you can't find them.

I can't believe how many times I have done the EXACT manuever with the same results in LOMAC, to bad this pilot could not have hit a reset botton. :(

There is one video that shows the pilot getting up from the grass only to see what he has just caused, someone runs by him and pats him on the shoulder as if to say "glad you're ok". I can't imagine what they felt like.

Does anyone have links to the balckbox recorder?

is this ok?

here is a rar with a bunch of stuff......

please don't DL it if you don't want to see graphic footage.

Again, not pretty

Thank you very much for the footage, especially the first photo in the archive, shows that the k-36dm is even capable of a normal trajectory when the airframe is yawing and rolling, very interesting stuff on the performance of those flying machines.

The loss of life is tremendous, and is very disturbing, on the other hand what do you expect form 25 tonnes of kerosine and metal travelling at 250 km/h.

EDIT: Please don't watch these videos if you can't stand to see real bodies and dismembermnets or have any sort of psychological issues with blood or disturbing footage

I could, but only on password locked FTP, and if the link is not public, only PMs. At least for now I don't have FTP server ready. I'll look into it later. I don't want this thing to be generally accessible. Maybe just for few interested and mature members of this community.

It is really horrific stuff. I've watched it only once. Couldn't make myself to watch it again.

The only thing good about this video you can clearly see what has lead to crash. Because you see the entire manuever in large scale, and see exactly when and how airstreams breake from the plane and then comes the aftermath.. :(

If you look at the clip with the girl in the red dress, you can see a good profile of the ejection sequence. The nose cone was already disintegrating (sp) when they punched out, but the A/C looks fairly level. I think that photo shows the start of the bounce after initial impact.

is this ok?

Whel.. after all, most russian crashes on air shows are live ejection seat comercials. This one gone wrong "a bit" :(

Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.

I have footage of at least 3 other airshows involving the su-27, su-33 and mig-29 in which the pilots did not punch out, to sum them up, the results are not pretty, especially the giant cartwheeling fireball that followed after the su-33 crash in 2001 where Apakidze died, and a su-27 carsh in Spain (similar like the one in Lviv, Le Bourget and Mirgorod), but with 15-20 m less altitude. The mig-29 one was where it made a very high AoA manoeuver above a forrest, almost changed the flying direction (not TVC) and hit the ground at a very high sinkrate, all this time the pilot kept piloting the plane. :(

I also have some more positive footage of a su-30MK zero-zero ejection test where a real (one that really flies) su-30 is used, and the rear seat+dummy ejects, compressing the front gear struts and leaving a burnmark on the hump. I am under the impression that the close-up footage of this test was used in the Mirror Wars footage, but in Mirror Wars there was another shot in which a flying test is conducted, if I could combine those videos I'd get both the normal time and slow-motion videos of the ejection.

And I have two static tests of the Buran ejection seat test, which is impressive as the rocket motor burns over 1 second, and the seat is vertical seeking (and gets up to about 500m AGL)

want to see an impressive aircrash check your local news agency for that c-5 galaxy that had a major malfunction on takeoff but was able to return to land but only to break up completely. Whats astounding is there were no deaths with the aircrew and no explosion upon impact.
