Yes, just checked it and still works fine ... perhaps you installed it on the wrong filepath ... it should be on Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\Cockpit_Su-33

Guys, I have a missing texture on the su33, the texture of the EOS is yellow/orange. In external view everything is ok.

I can confirm this. With the stock Russian cockpit, the EOS and other textures on the outside of the cockpit (when viewed from within) are correct, but with the English cockpit mod the EOS and sides of the aircraft have the black/yellow "missing texture" colors.

This is a hotfix. I'll update the mod with DCS v2.5 by the end of January 2018. This is not an estimate, this is a promise. ;)

 

Please move this lua file into "C:\Users\{your-user-name}\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\Cockpit_Su-33\English Blue" folder and overwrite.

 

Sorry for delay.

Just updated this mod (v1.4), but (FYI) I forgot to add fixed description.lua file in it.

Then I uploaded again it as version 1.4a

 

Compatible with DCS v2.5

Hi "Devrim"? Nice to meet you. i just installed your Mig 29 English for all three Variants of the Mig-29. It works beautiful. Thanks a whole lot! Then I installed this one too for the SU-33.

I guess I'm one of those guys who always wanted a Hornet and now that we have it I am stuck back on my Mig and SU-33! I go back to the Flanker 2.0 , LOMAC-FC1,2n3 days.

I'm not so sure all the hype of the virtual cockpits are everything cracked up to be as there's a difference in reaching with your hand and clicking a mouse when attempting to fly a bit. But it's all good. It is impressive. I'll take it!

I like a Hornet don't get me wrong, but I really dig the Russian fighters! Thanks again for the Mod and I will keep an eye on what else you do for us! :thumbup:

I hope in this FC4 I hear of, that we will get an updated SU and Mig variants. I would like to see a Mig 29 M with variable thrust vectoring or all the way to a Mig 35 with way more features in radar and navigation and Air to Ground abilities.

Hi Devrim, been flying your English Su-33 cockpit for years and love it!

 

I was flying my blue & yellow Su-33 exterior skin and noticed that your cockpit continued to display the pretty much default Su-33 blue/white colour on the spherical fairing which houses the optical-electronic sighting system. Even though the plane has painted that exterior housing yellow, the cockpit view still shows it as blue/white. Found out the reason is the line in your cockpit description.lua, "{"su33_tex01", 0, "su33_tex01", true};". I commented that out and now the fairing displays the exterior color of whatever Su-33 skin I fly as expected (example below).

Not sure if there are other reasons you had that line in the cockpit description.lua but I haven't noticed any adverse issues after commenting it out. If you had a specific other purpose for including that line I'd love to learn why :smilewink:

Probably, I got the description file directly from Modelviewer. As you saw I disabled some lines, but can't remember why I keept that line there.

And right now, I can't check the texture01 to see what's in there, because I've just removed FC3 module a few days ago. :)

 

If there's no wrong with in-cockpit textures and if it works for you, good catch man. That's great.

texture01 defines the center top and bottom fuselage front half up to the nose including the optical/electronic sensor housing. I believe setting that texture to true forces it to load the blue/white scheme defined in the default su33_tex01.dds (belonging to the 279th kiap 1st Squad Navy skin) rather than whatever su33_tex01.dds is actually being displayed :smilewink:

Please, no worries. I operated an operation on my SSD and tried getting some empty spaces on my SSD to allocate some sectors for Syria map, but no success, big fail. :D

 

I could re-install FC3 sometime later.
