Famous "Fang" tail art, code letters and numbers on fuselage were spaced out during this period to clear the speed brakes.

Coming soon.

Dude, can't you see that's the Ontario flag? Or is it Bermuda?

;)

It could be Manitoba, Ontario or even Bermudas... but should the Union Jack not be on the top LEFT corner instead of top RIGHT? :D

I know it's nit-picking but we Swiss people are looking on the details :smartass:

But once again: Amazing skins :thumbup:

.....

I'm sorry jocko... Your skin is real. I saw a black and white picture of a canadian sabre 2-4 posts above. They really switched the flag on the right side of the fin (0_0)

Forget my posts asking for the flag corrections...

Quite alright, all kidding aside, the "Red Ensign" flag was the national flag of Canada, at least until February of 1965, when it was replaced by the present day flag with the maple leaf. As we stated above, Manitoba and Ontario use ensigns as provincial flags, and some former British colonies (Bermuda, Australia, New Zealand, etc) still retain ensign style national flags today.

As for the orientation, the union jack corner would be closest to the flag pole when flying from a building, ship, etc. On aircraft it was placed so that the union jack would be 'leading' on both sides, as if flying back from a pole when the aircraft was flying.

@Skulleader, the speed brake texture was updated after I started updating my skins, the first updates won't have it (yet), try the camo 441, and bare metal 413 and 422 skins.

You've probably already done this Skull, but you can delete the f-86f_gear_RCAF texture from the older updates and replace it with the texture from the more recent updates. Then all skins will have the new speedbrake texture.

Yeah, the 410 update is imminent as I've been revamping my camo template. Had to split everything up into separate metal and camo templates. Gimp was choking on it, over 100 layers...

The OTU skins are ready, had a couple of small errors to fix, as well as general template improvements to add.

And then... Italy, RAF, and Yugoslavia. Then maybe Greece and Turkey.

Coming soon, LONG overdue...

Original skin was the 1959 paint scheme, I decided to update it to the 1960 scheme, which included the pilot and crew names. 23066 was flown by the team Lead, Squadron Leader Fern Villeneuve, who, 26 years later, was Commandant of the Royal Canadian Air Cadet regional gliding school where I got my wings ;)
