I review the all press release and official and I see the definition of DCS: W changing continually and can make to confusion and a "little" disturbing.

Original 2012 DCS: W press release:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1480510&postcount=1

DCS stands for “Digital Combat Simulator”. DCS is a world simulation engine permitting the user to operate or direct a growing number of combat and civilian aircraft, ground vehicles and ships, from different historical eras, in different geographical locations and at different levels of fidelity. It is a true "sand box" simulation.

.....

The overall "simulation operating system" is termed DCS World and is a free program that includes a free Su-25T for the player to fly. All DCS products will plug into DCS World as unique modules within the same software installation. DCS products will not be limited to aircraft, but will include maps, missions, campaigns, environment objects, weapons, vehicles and ships. We even hope to look into a train simulation component in the future!

E3 2014 press release.

Lol ya lots of changes but I think it's just evolution of the dcs world franchise. I believe it will continue to change and progress to an even bigger more dynamic product.

Those aren't changes they are contradictions.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I think this is reading a little too much into a one sentence discription. I agree the naval/ground part seems to come and go with no explanation but I see nothing concerning here. IMHO the first part is a optimistic (maybe overly so) vision of what DCS can be, while the rest are true discriptions of DCS's focus as of now.

I am thinking this is a little nit-picky, aside from some slight differences, I dont see a real issue.

The 190, F-86, 109 and Su-27 are pretty much the same, aside from a word or two that I dont see making a difference. (going by the bold parts, I assume that is why they were made bold)

SoH map is for not just aircraft, but ground and naval units, sort of makes sense as its a map, not an aircraft simulation. SO you can use CA with this product, but maybe CA wouldnt enhance your experience with the 109 right now, so its not a selling point?

Anyways, I'll just say it again, and no offence SD, but its a little nit picky. Perhaps this has something to do with your being upset about the naval side not moving as fast as you like, I dont know. But I dont see a huge issue here.
