Nemax Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Hello I am new on this forum even though i have been flying the A-10C quite a lot in the recent years. But little while ago i bought my second plane the F-86 which i have always loved. And i must say i love flying this thing. So fun to dogfight with. Since i fly in RL I kinda missed having a checklist for the F-86 so I made one and thought id share it here. I once helped write a checklist for Beech Dutchess that my flight school bought when I was training there. Feel free to give me input on the checklist. mwd2 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Good list, but... under Preflight 1. Close Canopy - if you close the canopy, you can`t talk to ground crew and ask for Ground Power Engine Start-Up 5. Throttle - OFF - will this not kill the engine RPM? 7. Radio - Ground Power Disconnect - should not possible with close canopy 8. ??? NeilWillis Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Also, it would be much better to make the checklist kneeboard shaped. I am sure a lot of people use their kneeboards when running through checklists, so surely a vertical orientation is an absolute?

I would also add switching from alternate hydraulic system to normal one by flipping the reset switch. Doesn't make much difference in DCS as people are flying on alternate all day long, but in theory it should be done. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
