what happens is when you press a key, it gets double pressed, like when you click launch, to drop a bomb, the A10C, it will give a message that the weapon was cancelled (one the bomb in the MFD), because of the stinking double press from the wrong driver... so you cannot use the command with the old driver in the profile...

Older drivers are working perfectly with me. You must check your driver version in device manager and go to properties of saitek drivers under Human Interface devices and check version in driver tab. Repeated key issue is with latest drivers. You need to install Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64. link is in post #13

You can follow the steps, download drivers from post # 13 http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2445332&postcount=13

To check your version in device manager

it's more then double keys when you click, you get 4 or more.... and no, there is no fix for Win10, you have to wait for Saitek to release the Win10 driver.

I know that the title of the thread is about windows 10, but the problem exists even on windows 8.1. The last two driver versions Saitek/Mad Catz really messed things up. From a reddit tread someone managed to get the new drivers installed by disabling windows integrity check. It seems that there might be something wrong with the drivers digital signature. Don't they do quality checks before releasing their software? I cannot imaging that they tested the new drivers and didn't noticed that the OS was rejecting the new version. Twice now!

Anyway. In the Device Manager under "Programming Support" there is an entry called "Programmable Root Enumerator". That is the one responsible for translating button presses to keyboard entries. After installing the latest drivers and software, which they where not working, I tried to manualy choose what driver windows should use for "Programmable Root Enumerator". In there I show too possible drivers found by the OS to be for this hardware. The one not working had a version/date: v7.0.39.0[4/17/2015]. So I choose the other one which had a version/date: v7.0.27.13[4/16/2013]. So, they've updated their drivers only for us to use the one back from 2013!!!

I hope they fix it soon.

I didn't start this thread..., but I am only interested in getting Win10 to work properly with my Saitek X52 Pro. I personally had no problem with Win 8.1 after I got the proper driver from Saitek. I want to stick with Win10 in the conversation, to get it working, right now it has no chance of working without a new release by Saitek. (my stick has many hours on it, and any small problems are magnified by wrong and old software.) I check Saitek's website often, and so far nothing for Win10. :joystick:

Please give me the exact saitek driver version SST software version that is working with you. Thx for your help

Unfortunately no, because I haven't done it my self and I don't know how to do it. But I would advice against disabling such protective measures from the system. Because, if disabled, any malicious software can install things that shouldn't be installed.

The last working drivers for me had version number 7.0.34.109 and the SST software version 7.0.27.13 in Windows 8.1. For Windows 10 I don't know since I haven't upgraded. If you installed newer versions that are not working then you may have to manually uninstall them in order for windows to use the older ones.

Exact same issues here, running Win 10 pro. Profile settings will not work, such as key bindings. Unplugging it causes the mouse to be unresponsive and you get that stupid "boop boop" each time you click. Keys still work. The display of which button I'm pressing on the MFD is also buggy, sometimes it shows trigger all the time and only some buttons show and only sometimes. MFD text also seems to flicker?? Very strange behaviour all around.

I've found a temporary solution though! If you play your games while you have the control panel open, your games will detect the presses as their number. For example, trigger is button 1 in control panel, so games will now detect this as "button 1". You can make a temporary controls profile in your games and attempt to work around the fact you do not have multiple profiles and macros and such so you can at least use the damn thing. Waiting patiently for a driver update I guess.

I'm having a terrible experience with windows 10, not one but TWO of my rather common network adapters are still not supported officially and act very buggy as well. Currently having to use a micro USB wifi adapter, lol.

Whew!!! Thought it was just my computer!

Exact same issues here. Latest Saitek/MadCatz drivers for the X52 Pro. Each button press registers multiple times and if unplugged I get beeps when mouse is moved or clicked.

I have same issue. My x52 pro don't respond when testing in sst input interface. It looks like it repeat button click several times.

Another big issue if I unplug my joystick my win10 stop responding to mouse click and it beeps every time I click. I have to hard rest my windows

Please help me. Any one using x52 pro with win10. If so which driver and sst version are you using

There is another solution you can uninstall all saitek drivers and SST software. Then install driver version Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64 and SST_Software_64_6_6_6_9 from here. But you must check that the driver are install in device manger. It will not hang your system and it will work with game but don't know if you can use SST.

big thanks for this mate!

1.Search for “command Prompt“.

2.Right-click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run As Administrator“.

3.Do one of the following:

•To disable device driver signing, type “BCDEDIT /set nointegritychecks ON” then press “Enter“

•To enable device driver signing, type “BCDEDIT /set nointegritychecks OFF” then press “Enter“

I can get the root enumerator working by disabling the integrity check BUT it still does not fix the multiple keypress bug. A Windows 10 driver is required from Saitek/MadCatz

Same issues guys, I was throwing away my old X-52 after update of W10.

1. Profile doesn't work for most of buttons in dcs.

2. Once joy unplugged, PC doesn't work anymore.
