I just received my jetseat (thanks Andre). I started up simshaker and it updated. I hadn't used it in a while. It does not seem to be reading my export.lua file.

I have no effects in the Jetseat while in flight (Jetseat Handler reports Jetseat=ok). I no longer have the standalone DCS World installed. I have the Alpha of 2.0 and the 1.5 Beta. The Jetseat is working fine in test mode so I believe the problem is between DCS and Simshaker software. I have selected USB under output mode.

My log screen on Simshaker shows the following:

The Simshaker flight data window remains unpopulated during flight.

The Debug info window shows "Using data from DCS world". It does not list anything under "Last Effect:"

After the update should I of had to update the lua or this automatic?

Should I remove and reinstall Simshaker? If so will I then need to reactivate it?

EDIT: Its working great in 2.0Alpha. I will compare the export.lua file from 1.5 to see if I can find the issue.

I found the issue. Export.lua in my 1.5 install also included some code to export to the X-sim plugin. I removed the code and the jetseat now works great. I will reintroduce the code in stages to see if I can isolate the issue.

Hello Andre,

I was wondering in reference to the separated left and right setting in Simshaker. Is that for the Gametrix seat only or can I use that setting with my buttkicker. I am researching on how to make surround feeling with small puck tactile Transducers. What channel on my separate sound card does shimshaker use to separate the sound center/subwoofer channel? Thanks for your help! Brew.

Hi Brew,

that's for a couple of trasducers, not for JetSeat. Left and right channels of line or headphones output.

Andre,

On the Gametrix web page, under the heading "DCS World Module" there is a set of charts that I can't find. Where do I go to see them in the software I have downloaded, and maybe change some of the settings?

ps My seat is working fine.

Thanks,

Hi Bruce,

you can find those charts colored light blue at SimShaker GUI.

GUI stands for graphic user interface.

Andre,

I'm not sure what or where that is. Is it part of one of the files I downloaded in order to get SS and the seat working?

I would recommend two ways:

1) When DCS World is started press Alt+Tab until you get to SimShaker window

or

2) When DCS World is not started find in system tray SimShaker dark red/white icon, right mouse click, choose "Start SimShaker" in a context menu

Hi

can anyone recommend an amplifier to use with transducers? I am using two of these:

I'm using an old Technics hifi stereo amp from the 80s with something like 100W. Works great! I would look for an used one...

Bug since some updates ago.

attachment.php?attachmentid=135665&stc=1&d=1456676554

Picture is self explanatory I guess. The "Power Grid" Pane cannot be moved or else, it links to the Website: http://dreamsimteam.blogspot.de/p/power-grid-plugins-user-guide.html

And in addition the checkboxes for the Helicopters Mi-8 and especially my UH-1H are hidden.

Can work around somehow in the config file, but this should be fixed...

Other checkboxes similar though the Power Grid overlay only appears on the Heli page... Rest (Service, Special, Settings) is OK.

Maybe worth to note I run at 4k resolution!
